Don’t recommend!!

First of all, some of the staff there, Missy, KEVIN, Maria and Hazel are the only good staff. They actually treated us like we’re human and I only appreciate them and VERY FEW residents there because they were sane… during the program. The rest of the staff and residents were gaslit to thinking they were suppose to be there and treated like junkies just because of our childhood. The rest of the unprofessional staff had no faith in us and treated us like serverly unstable animal like figures. Specifically the PD, who I thought had sympathy for us because she was also in recovery. No, at times she did, but most of the time she triggered residents and believed we were nothing but disappointments without the program and had continuous toxic recovery treatment. Donna is the definition of a toxic parent, she’d buy things for us to make us think everything is sweat when is isn’t . We had no freedom and barely contact with the outside world. I was only there for 40 days and I forgot what’s it’s like to be a human and not an ‘addict’. I talked to people from Lawerence, they all say they’re surprised the program is still running the way they do. If you really want recovery treatment, don’t go here, they’ll continuously remind you of your past and actually want you go back to your old ways. Other than the gaslit fun time, this place is hell in a bottle. Also the PD’s son works there which I know is not allowed he has no authorization to be working at a recovery center. AA/Na’s where okay too, most people there were using so I don’t know if that’s recovery oriented too.

had a terrible experience. the program director donna is extremely controlling and negative, and rather than bring me up she brought me down. i couldn’t speak to her without getting in trouble. they don’t know how to… handle real mental health issues there, and your constantly being looked down on by staff. there’s no real connection with your peers and having any type of friendship is looked down on as well. however, two of my best friends are from this program, and we occasionally discuss our legit trauma from this program.

This house did evything they could for me. They offer therapy likei have never experienced in my lifetime ❤️. I miss this house and I am struggling wish I was still young because I would go back in a heartbeat
