About Rosecrance Therapies – Chicago

Rosecrance Therapies operates from 320 West Ohio Street in Chicago, close enough to Cicero and Oak Park to serve both. Anyone within about 8 miles can reach it without a major journey, which takes in Chicago, Cicero, Oak Park and Berwyn. Chicago sits in Cook County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.

The facility runs intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medication for opioid dependence is available here alongside talking treatment. Remote appointments are offered, useful for anyone without transport. The facility works with veterans and military families. Licensing sits with the Illinois Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, alongside federal SAMHSA registration.

Rosecrance Therapies – Chicago Detox and Rehab Services

Rosecrance Therapies – Chicago delivers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset.

The focus here is on one side rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask what happens if the recommended level of care is not available immediately.

So far has made it easy to schedule appts and the sessions have been helpful. Reasonable with financial assistance and job transitions. No complaints at this time.

I originally came to Rosecrance for an IOP centered around substance abuse. I found the staff to be very supportive and always feel comfortable when I’m here. When the facilitator of the IOP moved into another practice,… she became my individual counselor, and now my Rosecrance psychiatrist is helping me manage my medications and undergo Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. They have a bunch of different techniques to help patients manage their behavioral issues.

I had my first therapy session in a very long time at River North Rosecrance, and honestly, it completely changed my perspective on therapy. In the past, I struggled to be fully honest and open with therapists, which… pushed me away from continuing. This experience felt completely different. My therapist, Daniele, was incredible from the very first visit. She created an environment where I felt safe, comfortable, and able to truly be myself without judgment. That alone meant a lot to me. The office itself is also beautiful. The high loft ceilings and exposed brick give the space a warm, calming, and welcoming feel that immediately puts you at ease. After just one session, I already scheduled recurring weekly appointments with her, which says a lot. Overall, a five-star experience and I’m genuinely grateful I decided to come here.

Not a great place. No receptionist. Therapist didn’t acknowledge me until said something. Session was rushed. I’ll never go back!!

I’ve been in therapy for a while, met a few different counselors, but at Rosecrance I definitely met a good match for me. Olivia Spence asked me all the questions I wish other counselors had asked. I’m very satisfied… with my healing journey at Rosecrance. They have a great team of professionals. Shoutout to Dr. Lakmani!!

Dr. Lakhmani is a godsent! He always takes the time to really listen to what I have to say and give me honest, thoughtful and actionable advice and guidance. It feels like I am getting the best care I could ask for… which is amazing... especially after having such bad experiences with past Psychiatrists.
