The older Scottish lady who works in the offices by the cafeteria is my go to person when I need to navigate the VA system.

Always feels very safe and comforting there in Leeds, just an FYI I visited the Veterans Memorial that they have on Front Street in Chicopee where the old Chicopee High School is, and I highly recommend to check that… out it is very honorable and reflective

Never received any good help, wasted my time. If you work a normal jobs with weekends off good luck getting reasonable service or a try for help without a zoom meeting if its mental health/justice related. Done nothing… for physical injuries everything is just blood work or finger in the butt. Community center program is just as bad

I’ve really enjoyed the quality of care received at the VA in Northampton. The staff seems attentive, caring, and very competent. The facility overalls set up very well. I was initially worried, switching to the VA… system from private Healthcare. The pharmacy has been extremely easy to work with. Thank you for all your help. David DiCienzo

The response from the staff there was incredible. Thank you Bob from the Liberty entrance on Aug.22nd for pushing this hobbling old vet to my appointment. I think there was a computer glitch that held up my CAT Scan for… 1/2 hour...but other than that the courtesy shown was great.

This VA has it's problems 😑 in all areas but be at good terms with Rob the latest patient advocate and the system will work for you! Not against you!🇺🇲🪖🫂🏥

I have been a patient of the VA in Leeds, Massachusetts, Newington, and West Haven, Connecticut, for the past 11 and a half years. During this time, I have consistently received exceptional healthcare and dental care.… The primary care and specialty care doctors, as well as the staff, are friendly, caring, and attentive to my health needs. The atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and I feel confident that I am receiving the best possible care.

I've been going through programs at this hospital for a year now. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Things are not simply handed to you, but if you are in need of assistance and willing to put in the effort then… you will be helped to the fullest extent.

This is my one stop shop for health care. Great staff. Incredibly supportive of veterans with housing, food, peer support, primary care, specialty care, therapy, and medication. Hard working people that often work long… hours to help veterans. Easy 5 stars.

The most inept unusable system ever. You guys could take a lesson from the VA in Cheyenne, WY. They took care of me for years. There was never a problem reaching a team pac member and/or having the primary care provider… call me. I use the Greenfield clinic which is almost impossible to contact. When they finally call you (God forbid you miss the call and have to go through the 3 or 4 day process of making contact again) you might get to see someone in 2 or 3 weeks. By then you may be dead. If they leave a message it is impossible to call back whoever called you because they leave a general switchboard number and no extension that can neither connect you to who called you or help you in anyway. If you ask to speak to someone at Greenfield they connect you to a triage nurse at Leeds and all they can do is forward you message. Ridiculous!

The phone system runs you in circles and dead ends. When you finally get to somebody no one answers the phone and there's no way to leave a message. You are just a number so they can say they say they processed this… many people. But they never really fix anybody. Took me almost 5 years again x-ray for my back they refused to give me an MRI thank you

I have received excellent outpatient care for fifteen years at the Leeds/ Northampton VA. The staff are respectful and efficient. The facilities are immaculate with many areas recently updated.

This VA hospital is absolute garbage!! I needed an emergency Outpatient Surgery I arrived in leeds to find out that they had closed their ER without any notice to me as a patient. Now I have to pay $2,800 to heartford… health for something that should've been free. On top of this, they don't care about their patients, they constantly ignore their patients, they do not answer or reply to phone calls. Needless to say if you have another VA to go to, or to register with.. DO NOT REGISTER WITH THIS VA!!
