Best place ever. Staff and food are great. Thank you Virtue
Been to countless detox programs over the years and this one by far my favorite. They literally take care of you. Got a TV in your room with anything you could think to watch, food brought to your bedside and even your… cell phone after 72 hours. Nurses and all staff were great. Highly recommended to anybody wanting to make a better choice. They make it so easy. Thank you!
Food is fantastic. The only problem is really the Internet. It’s pretty bad. Also they need to find a way to allow you to use a PS5 with just discs no online gaming but you still have to use your TV as a monitor.
Terrible service before you even get started with intake. There site says they take pacific source, but when you call them they proudly boast we don't take your kind of pacific source as if this particular person was… mocking me. Terrible customer service and you shouldn't be anywhere near people who are recovering. The sence of any type of decorum flies straight over thier heads. Talking to these people requires more care after talking with them. Disgusted
They help you when you hit rock bottom, & give you a second chance to change your direction of life
it's incredibly misleading that you click on reviews for this place and find a bunch of great reviews from not this place! Not this location, which I only figured out because they were showing pictures of views of the… ocean! Going to the website is less than helpful because it seems you can only call a phone number, a national phone number, to get information because it's not showing on the website… I believe this location, in Milwaukee Oregon does not have inpatient facilities, only outpatient services. Would it be very hard to make that clear and easily accessible to people on the website? when I look up the inpatient facility that the website seems to indicate is in Astoria Oregon, it is not coming up on Google Maps Do you have an inpatient facility in Astoria Oregon? Is that where the reviews saying they have an ocean view from their room are coming from? Do you accept ohp? What OHP insurance providers do you accept? For impatient services in a story Oregon, if they exist Please make it less confusing, people seeking you out are already dealing with a lot edit: I looked again and I found a contact/enquiry for him to fill out on the website On the page that discusses their inpatient services, but never once anywhere tells where they are! The contact form requires that you click these two options in the picture giving consent for them to text and call you In order to submit the form this place just looks sketchy and sketchier the more I look into it why would they make it so difficult to see where the inpatient services are? Why would they make it so difficult to find out what insurance says they can accept? Why would they force you to consent to text messages and phone calls when you're just sending an email enquiry to ask about their programs, or a simple question? Either they are just focused on making money on people and their misery and addiction and mental health emergencies Or they need to hire somebody to make their website much easier for people already dealing with very difficult situations
I’m writing this with such a sad and defeated heart. I set up to get picked up from Portland OR to be taken here for detox and recovery. April 1st they pick me up at 11am. After the over 2 hour drive I start to have… some auditory hallucinations as usually follows coming down off of a bender for me, which includes thoughts of self harm. Once I arrive at Virtue they have me talk to a what I think was a counselor, Caitlin was her name. Following our talk they send me packing to the ER with all of my stuff. Once at the ER I talk to doctors, a social worker, etc. Now that I start feeling more calm at that point they call Virtue to see if I can go back and do the program I originally traveled over 2 hours for. They wouldn’t take me back. I don’t understand why. I don’t understand why they sent me to the ER in the first place after arriving. I ended up having a friend drive to get me and take me home (over a 4 hour drive total for her) back to Portland. It is the most defeated feeling reaching out for help and then being tossed away for (what it feels like) someone else to deal with. I write this with tears in my eyes because now I’m back home and feeling as helpless as before if not MORE for being turned away when I need the help the most when they had already approved me for care.
Virtue Recovery created an environment where healing was possible, and made it as pleasant, as can be, when I was at my most vulnerable. The medical team stayed attentive to my symptoms and comfort, and the staff… checked in consistently, making sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed. They made me feel safe, treating me with the utmost patience and respect, every step of the way. I’m deeply grateful for the care I received. They continue to check on me, even still today, reminding me that their treatment doesn't end at the door. It means so much to have such ongoing support through this very difficult chapter of my life.
This is one of the best places to detox at, a nice view of the ocean, queen size bed, meals are brought to you the first 3 days while you’re resting, easy access to the restroom, a tv in the room for you and your… roommate. And if you want to go outside to smoke your cigarettes, you can ( anytime) . The staff is caring and they check in with you after you get discharged to see how you’re doing and if there is anything they can do to help. It’s hard to get to the door, the other part is just doing it and having a different perspective of how you want your life to be. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you for the opportunity. ❤️
From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The staff is great and eager to help in any way they possibly can. I would definitely go back if it's ever needed again in the future.
What a great place to heal and learn about addiction. They take really good care of you. From the nursing staff and the Counselors!! The food was phenomenal! This place and the people in it saved my life! I will forever… be grateful!
understand that rehab is not meant to be fun, and I truly came in ready to accept help it took effort for me to walk through the door. When I asked about being discharged on my first day, the staff member I initially… spoke with was kind, respectful, and handled the conversation appropriately. Unfortunately, one staff member inserted himself into the conversation and spoke to me in a belittling and dismissive manner. While standing over me, he made comments such as, “Do you know where you’re at?”, “What did you expect?”, “All rehabs are the same, so don’t expect it to be fun,” and “You’re just gonna leave and go have fun you just want to go drink.” His tone and approach made me feel uncomfortable and intimidated rather than supported. This interaction overshadowed what had started as a positive experience. People come to rehab in vulnerable situations, and professionalism and basic respect truly matter.
Connection! Is exactly what I got from this place. The staff. The councilors and therapists. Man! Frikken the best one on one I ever got. Just like any other facility. Certain areas need work. But not enough bad that’s… gonna outweigh the good here at virtue. Eric. Wendy. Chris. Stephanie. Miki. Paige. And so many more that influenced my and my inspirations to being better. I advise anyone who needs help. Reach out. It works
Virtue Recovery was a great experience for me. The facility is clean and the staff is respectful and patient. I feel welcomed and safe there. Good food too. Although I never plan on relapse, it's reassuring to know that… I can go back if necessary. They also helped me find a nice 30 day residential facility. I definitely recommend Virtue Recovery, just make the call.
This place was amazing shout out to the staff for always making me feel comfortable and welcome. This place has more freedom than most you can smoke when you want. They have a great selection of food. They allow you to… have your own cell phone and you get to wear your own clothes And they’re also coed.
Virtue health recovery is an excellent detox facility. Foods good. Staff is great! No issues with other patients. You've got a TV in your room! No complaint from me..... Other than being in detox...
It was awesome
My detox treatment at Virtue in Astoria was excellent.
Great facility and staff! The nurses were awesome; the food was delicious; my counselor very cool; my case manager extremely helpful. My peers treated me like a friend and their Recovery program was solid. Highly… recommend.
Professional and caring group
I only stayed for detox ten days because of insurance Best detox ever They will come pick you up. Best detox ever I am so grateful.for the gift of sobriety Virtue at the point Astoria If your struggling pick up the… phone This program saved my life!!!
Had reached another bottom when I found Virtue at the Point. The entire staff: nursing, kitchen crew, counselors, housing & treatment style was incredibly beneficial to helping me get back to being a productive member… of society. I have continuous support & couldn't be where I am without their devoted care & links to resources. Thanks Virtue! 🙌🏽
At first, I was wondering if I did the right thing checking in to Virtue. However, after the first day, I knew I made the right choice. The ENTIRE staff were kind, supportive and caring. They made me feel so comfortable… and relieved. I highly recommend Virtue if you’re struggling with any substance. By the way, the food is excellent!
They loved me amd healed me ive sent 11 friends there
I loved it the doctor's wear nice and very caring I have been sober for a month thank you guys and I made a lot of great friends
Virtue at the Pointe Recovery Center is highly recommended. I began my journey at their inpatient treatment facility in Astoria Oregon and transferred to the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program in Milwauke Oregon.… The staff is second to none. I was treated with dignity and kindness. The primary focus is on the current and future well-being of their clients. It's not hard to see that immediately. There are classes 5 days per week and a fun experiential outing every Saturday. The counselors are well informed and strive at every juncture to help their clients. Campus housing is amazing. The houses are set in residential neighborhoods with no clinical feel at all. Safe and leisurely time away from the classroom is relaxing. All in all, the recovery value and level of care cannot be rivalled by any other company. And I never received a bill as a veteran of the United States military. Priceless. If you are struggling, call Virtue Recovery Center today. You'll be glad you did. Jim Tate Former client
I most recently spent a 7 day detox from alcohol here and honestly I don’t even know where to begin…. Not only was I treated with the utmost wonderful care, I truly felt as if I belonged there. Sadly this was my 5 th… time trying a detox. The other places I have tried drugged me up and kicked me out. With no real sense of direction or support to make me feel as if I could stay sober. (I was detoxing from alcohol) I actually cried leaving the center. The lifelong friendships I gained will remain with me forever. The staff never faltered on calling me by my name and actually remembering who I was unlike most detox centers. The nurses take excellent care of you too while in detox. They help you detox safely and make sure your comfortable while not overmedicating either. I can not even write into words how grateful and thankful I am for Virtue. If you’re considering any place to detox or even do inpatient treatment, this is your place to go. Thank you so much Virtue staff, counselors and kitchen staff (I ate so good there as well)!!! I had the best experience!
Caring supportive staff, clean facility, good food. Nursing staff amazing. I would recommend for anyone needing detox or 30 day treatment.
Without a doubt one of the best. From the owner right down to the handyman...all professionals.. Thank you!
