Good Samaritan – Vincennes Address, Location and Contact Information

You will find this provider at 520 South 7th Street, Vincennes, Indiana, 47591. Knox County covers this area. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Amazing experience! My baby has a febrile seizure and stopped breathing. Brought him in and an EMT took him from me and had him in the ER so fast! Every nurse came to his aide and worked quickly. I was very scared as I… have never witnessed this and they made sure to walk me and my husband through everything. Doctor was awesome. Checked on him multiple times. Hands down the best ER experience.

Absolutely, under no circumstance trust Dr. Herron in the ER. He is extremely reckless! As a patient with RPN it is exactly dangerous for me to take any type of NSAIDs. They literally can cause my kidney to shut down… and death. He was fully aware of this and ordered Toradol. Had it not been for me asking what she was giving me, I would have ended up in a very bad situation. When brought to his attention he became extremely defensive and very unprofessional. I spoke with the nurse about the situation who was extremely concerned but told me that she could not comment due to losing her job. Please, don't trust him if he is ever your provider, ask for a different provider or demand a RN to stand in the room at all times when he is present. Don't allow Drs like him to continue causing harm .

I am a 72 year old male. I have been using Urology Specialist for approximately 25 years. For the last several years I saw Cassie Memering. In my 72 years I’ve had my share of medical problems and seen many doctors in… many towns and different hospitals. I can honestly say none of them treats me with the personal, caring way that Cassie does. When I show up for a visit they are very prompt at getting me into see her. I think a lot of you men could have a problem going to a female for your urology needs, but let me tell you Cassie takes that fear all away. She is the most personable, caring, understanding, medical professional I have ever dealt with. We talk, she listens, she understands, and she advises me on all my issues. I would highly recommend Cassie Memering to anyone needing those types of services.

This place is BEYOND horrible! We waited 4 hours in the ER to be seen. Another 3 once we were called back. They cancelled tests that I had coming up for a different appointment with a different doctor! Not 1 of my… issues were addressed. We kept having to hunt the doctor down, who was actually playing on his phone with his feet up. A man was in the waiting room that had cut his finger off! Shouldn't he be priority? People were leaving due to the wait time and the nurses were NOT friendly! I'd say PUSHY! You'd get better care from a veterinarian!

Good Samaritan is one of, if not the, best Hospital in the region. Dr. Muranaka is the best podiatrist and wound care provider I've ever had, and his Staff ( especially Melinda) treat me better than family!!! He has… performed numerous surgeries on me, and there has NEVER been a problem, EVER. I also see Dr. Gregory Whitsett for all my orthopedic needs. He has replaced my shoulder, repaired the other, replaced 1 knee and getting ready to do the other! He and his staff are top notch!! This place is the BEST!!

My niece was currently there. She was diagnosed with 2 stomach ulcers and acute collitus. She was discharged without ever having spoke to anyone about ulcers no diet given with discharge hospital notes and given a… return to work letter with no restrictions. She works in a hot factory and on a line where she couldn't just go to the restroom when needed. With collitus, you have to have access to a bathroom. I'm very disappointed again with this hospital. It's why I go to Evansville when I get sick.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Derek Besing! He is hands down the best podiatrist at Good Samaritan Hospital. His expertise and dedication to his patients are truly unparalleled. What sets Derek apart is not… just his exceptional medical skills, but his genuine care and compassion for every individual he treats. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, thoroughly explains your condition and treatment options, and ensures you feel comfortable and confident in your care. Derek's bedside manner is outstanding. He has a warm and friendly demeanor that puts you at ease immediately. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients' well-being, both physically and emotionally. Thanks to Derek, I'm back on my feet and feeling great. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of podiatric care. You won't find a more skilled, caring, and genuine professional anywhere else. Five stars all the way!

Worst hospital most of the staff are very rude. The staff will under or over medicate depending on their "mood". Not all the staff is horrible there have been a few that are awesome but they miss a lot of diagnosis that… they should have gotten earlier and they use the "plausible deniability" everytime they make a mistake or something sudden and/or unexpected happens. Its been like this for over 20 years or more! They don't care about you once you get old, and if you aren't old and have "problems" they typically make it worse.. the fact that they treat people the way they do and a small community is held to 1 hospital simply because it is the only option needs to change and they need to be held accountable for their practices and malpractice.

I was pleased with the care that my wife received from Dr. Miller with her initial hip replacement surgery. However I am completely disappointed with the hospitals ability to coordinate with insurance in a timely and… proficient manner. My wife is scheduled to have her other hip replaced in a few weeks and it is deja vu all over again. We received a phone call literally less than 24hrs from her scheduled first surgery because they did not have pre-cert approval and by the time we got everything settled my wife had to wait a year just to get it done. Now with her second one finally scheduled we are seeing the same thing all over again. She was scheduled for her pre-op procedures for tomorrow morning and we find out today that they have been cancelled because they do not have pre-cert approval. After speaking with my insurance I found out that they did not even submit the request until two days ago even though it has been scheduled for over 2 months. After several phone calls I was able to get her back on the schedule for tomorrow but not until late in the afternoon. So because of that we have both wasted vacation days from our work because they can't get their act together yet again. This is just another reason why after we get this next procedure done I never plan to use this hospital again if I can avoid it!

Amy Ethridge and her staff gave my mom exceptional care during her 10 yr battle with cancer . They always had medical records and made phone calls to help us navigate this difficult situation. I was very aggressive and… demanding and Amy and staff went above and beyond to help . We went to much better facilities and were not as pleased as we were with our local care ! Thanks for all your help !

God awful hospital! The minute I try bringing up a bill that mysteriously got an extra almost 300 charge, they start giving me attitude and try to deny any form of the original payment! We in freaking USA, we already… are struggling with gas, now hospitals want us to have to struggle even more? Over 3000 dollars plus whatever else they’re gonna “mysteriously” charge me, and all they did was give me a 10 minute talk to see if Im feeling good! All because the College didn’t just let me go to counseling and instead made me have to endure this . And keep me there for several hours! Never going there again! Please give us the option for negative rating! We already are struggling to find jobs as is!
