Unison Health – Toledo Detox and Rehab Services

What Unison Health – Toledo offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Unison Health – Toledo Address, Location and Contact Information

Unison Health – Toledo is located at 1212 Cherry Street in Toledo, Ohio, 43608. Toledo sits in Lucas County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. The practical question of getting to appointments week after week is worth thinking through at the outset.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

These people are jokes. You try to get an appointment and they ask you multiple times why do you want to get an appointment. Well obviously I would just like to speak to a counselor, well what do you need to speak to a… counselor for???? Are you kidding me. it's 21 questions to try an get an appointment. Forget it, I don't need to talk to anyone.

Unison Health is amazing!! especially Ms Tequila Smith! shes passionate about helping people better theirselves and it shows in her work. she was able to help me with services in housing, dental, eye doctor, finding a… physician, etc.. give that lady a pay raise!! seriously, if you need help finding any services, go to unison health the cherry street location, they'll help you out with everything you need.. its good to know some people actually care about helping people change their lives.

The Fact team is a joke. Both of my case managers don't answer phones, return calls and cancel appointments at the very last second. A couple of times, I've called because they were late and they had no clue about an… appointment. Everyone complains they're overbooked and understaffed. Until today I haven't had any contact with both of my case managers for over 30 days. I couldn't get the help I needed on a Saturday because no one would answer their phone all week. No empathy whatsoever and have the nerve to take up social work.

I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the incredible support I received from Unison. After experiencing an accident, I had to join a program while also managing communication with the court — a very… stressful time in my life. Thankfully, my consultant Chyna was with me every step of the way. She went above and beyond, offering guidance, encouragement, and all the resources I needed. I also want to recognize Mrs. Gaston, whose warmth and kindness lifted me during one of my lowest moments. Her support made a huge difference, and I’ll never forget the role she played in helping me through. I’m currently working with Bruce, and he’s been great — professional, understanding, and consistent. Thank you to everyone at Unison. Your dedication and compassion truly changed my life. I appreciate each and every one of you.

The therapist who provided my intake was very nice she helped me feel comfortable. But the lobby wreaked of chemicals and I was sent to another facility for another appointment instead of getting to choose who I wanted… to see.

This place is an absolute joke, my wife has had 4 appointments at this location and anytime we go there they have no record of the appointment then it gets pushed back a other month or two for us to get back in and same… results 4 times over have spoken to supervisors who have stated they have made the appointment for us including giving us a reminder card with still no appointment information within unison system. I would not recommend this place for type of mental health it's a money/insurance grab with no true help in sight.

I'm always greeted with a smile. Unison has helped me get back to my authentic self. I've learned so on how to cope with disappointments. I've maintained sobriety with the help of IOP groups. My therapist has helped me… tremendously. I see the growth and change in my new self. Unison plays a huge part in that. Forever grateful.

Tim is beyond fabulous. I was introduced to Tim with the mindset of I'd feel safe with him because I was new to feeling feelings again. He has made me feel safe and comfortable to the point where I have his direct line… if I needed. I've missed a few appointments due to mental health issues that wouldn't allow me to leave my house and he never once let that hinder any part of my care and appointments were rescheduled. There was also a time where I shut everyone out including Tim and upon my return I was told he didn't stop thinking about me and how I was doing. I'm not just a patient, I'm a person. Thank you.

I am hopefully giving them a chance I have an appointment Monday, July 17,2023 I was going to zeph center . They were ok for awhile then thing changed . I was so busy with work and other things I missed my appointment… and you know I was on two Suboxone a day which I probably should’ve been on one and a half. I think it was a mental thing, but they completely just cut me off and kick me out on the street like I was nothing. my doctor tells me that it’s her job not to. I said well I come here to get help they just want your money so I just want to go to work and stay sober that’s it that’s all I wanna do in life so if anyone can give me advice or let me know that would be awesome thanks they are basically like anything else I was in there and I was with John really bad and all I could really think about was taking a Suboxone and they kept saying you gotta do that you gotta do that you gotta wait till there’s and I literally had to beg to just get one Suboxone it’s hard to do all the requirements when you have a job and all I wanna do is stay sober and go to work but I guess it’s OK if people are not working

Tim is so welcoming and actually takes the time to really listen. He is very understanding and empathetic . He leaves you with the feeling that he sees you and treats you as an individual as opposed to treating everyone… the same . Seems to realize different things work for different people. He is a very special find and I highly recommend him especially to anyone who is uncomfortable with talking about their mental health. You will find comfort here.
