I came fresh out of inpatient to start my continued care, they started my financial eligibility & initial 2 hour intake. After my intake I was told someone would call me that same week to schedule my therapy… appointments. No calls, I called them & they were rude & kept sending me to somebody who I had to keep leaving messages to because they never answered the phone. When I would try to explain this before being transferred the front desk would say “Right so if you let me talk, I need to transfer you,” even though that transfer never gets answered. I’ve been out of inpatient for over 2 weeks now with zero therapy. Somebody called me today but she hung up because I was somewhere busy trying to get somewhere quiet. When I called back no answer… it’s like they want people going back to the hospital.
If you’re going to have someone working at a mental health facility it would be wise to train them on how to talk to patients. I called to schedule an appointment and Alex told me I had an appointment in 2 weeks. I… explained that I was scheduling an individual, which none of my appointments were for. She told me I had an appointment scheduled to schedule that appointment in 2 weeks. I tried to explain to her that the appointment 2 weeks out was for signing documents, not scheduling an appointment. She wanted to argue with me that they couldn’t do anything but she could transfer me to someone who couldn’t help? After trying to explain the at I just got out inpatient which is why someone was supposed to call me for a sooner appointment she continued to interrupt me, at one point I asked her to stop interrupting me and paused and she rudely told me “okay talk” I paused because I was getting really irritated with her attitude. Then when I tried to talk again she repeated herself but a little louder. At that point I asked her why she wanted to have an attitude when I’m just trying to schedule a therapy appointment and she says “okay… I’m letting you talk. And I’m not being like that but continue..” I’m not sure if she just had a bad day or something but
After over a decade of amazing treatment from this center, this place has really gone down hill. The dispatch team is incredibly unhelpful and has no issue sending you to a line with dead air, repeatedly. When you ask… to speak to a manager, you get put on hold for over 20 mins. I was looking for resolution, because my daughter's therapist no-showed her appointment. Do better BMHP.
My counselor is Doug. We had spoken about Boulder housing. Months later when I brought up Boulder housing he denied ever talking about Boulder housing. Kind of a shady practice. I'm currently working with Dr. Reina.
Everytime I try to get help they cancel on me. Why say your going to offer help and then you cancel appointments?
I really appreciate the folks at Clinica on Alpine Ave. I have a hearing loss and they always make sure I understand what is going on. Dr. Ambrose is very kind and very helpful.
Really awesome mental health facilities and staff which serves the boulder community. They help with lots of mental illnesses even schizophrenia and autism. Also they have wonderful psychiatric staff really overall… awesome support here.
They've helped me immensely in every way possible. This place is amazing.
FIRE EVAN WEST. My daughter attempted to take her life after he dropped her as a client because she has substance abuse issues. Do not go here and by all means DO NOT hire Evan West.
Maybe one of the worst experiences of my life…
I have been through several psychiatrists and therapists. I’m so thankful for the help I’ve been provided from Evan and Rachael. Evan is by far the best psychiatrist I’ve had. After going through many psychiatrists I… was afraid to change my provider. Especially because I didn’t like who was given to me here at first but I’m happy I did. It’s great when you have a psychiatrist who listens and cares. Evan is also extremely intuitive which is a gift with psychiatrists. Because a lot of psychiatrists do not really care to listen and it doesn’t help with mental health patients, I told him my mental health has increased and I could tell that he cares about what he does. Rachael is also extremely caring and makes sure she keeps me on track with my mental health because at times I can be avoidant and she’s there to help. Both caregivers are extremely kind people and intuitive. I honestly can’t believe the reviews because the help that is provided. Even the front office is so kind.
My case manager Ken works here and he has helped me make phone calls to arrange various appointments I need and get the services and treatments I'm after. Thanks to the team at Mental Health Partners, we even found a… surgeon who agreed to get me sterilization surgery. I am grateful for the services offered at this facility and would recommend my friends to come here.
Trying to get med refills here is a waste of time. after having been jerked around three times, I have moved on. I will be doing business with Anchor Point Primary Care, for my healthcare and my mental health care. They… are in the old Alfalfas' building, I got an appointment only a week out. One star is generous.
