About Bigfoot Counseling LLC – Post Falls
Bigfoot Counseling LLC operates from 570 South Clearwater Loop in Post Falls. The site sits in Kootenai County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Bigfoot Counseling LLC
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Bigfoot Counseling LLC Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 570 South Clearwater Loop, Post Falls, ID 83854, in Kootenai County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Has it's ups and downs, however starting to understand what this place is all about.
At first I thought this place was awesome. Autumn was an amazing therapist and my biggest advocate. Jesse, however would not listen to her or I. Life was so hard everyday. I told Jesse this repeatedly. I took an adhd… test that Autumn gave me. Turns out I probably had ADHD. I gave the test to Jesse and never heard another word about it. I found a different provider and started adhd medication and my life has completely changed. I finally feel "normal". On top of all this they automatically pulled 50 dollars for "late cancel/no show". I cancelled an appointment days in advance. Please proceed cautiously with this place. Jesse also got me dependent on viibryd which I absolutely regret. My trust in Bigfoot is now zero.
Adrienne Murphy is a very nice and understanding therapist. She’s made such a positive impact on my mental health. Amazing gal. 5 stars.
I love my therapist here! And the atmosphere is great. I feel better everytime I come
Sarah has been crucial in the establishment of care and therapy for both my underage children. The staff is always amazing and work with us when we need to reschedule etc. The building is ALWAYS clean and the staff is… friendly and professional. They have always helped to guide us in the right direction in regards to continued therapy and goals. They have gone above and beyond to help our family heal as a unit and individually! Jesse has been phenomenal as well in regards to medications and sessions with my kids.
In the few short months that I have been going to Bigfoot, I have already been positively affected more than I have with any other therapist I've had, in my entire life. I see both Jesse and Autumn and both are truly… amazing human beings with these beautiful caring hearts for service, and it's very clear to see that they care very deeply about the wellbeing of their clients. I truly feel like I have a team who supports me, and who actually gives a crap about my life. Choosing Bigfoot was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time, I wish I could have sessions 7 days a week with both my therapists! 😂 I highly, highly recommend anybody who is struggling or who needs a strong support system of professionals in their life- this is the place to go- even if you've had bad experiences with therapy in your life, I'd urge you to give Bigfoot a try, because I also have had less than stellar experiences with therapists in my past and the team here has really changed my perception of therapy in general- I've never felt so supported. P.s. I love the very sweet ladies in the office- they are such a welcoming, warm hello every time I walk into the building!Altogether, I can honestly say that I look forward to my appointments at Bigfoot each and every time. My team at Bigfoot are a blessing and I hope they know that. Thank you
Amazing staff and Jesse is literally THE BEST. He listens and helps to address the issues I have regarding my ADHD. He is upfront and honest, but is kind. The rest of the counselors are amazing and so very nice ❤️🫶🏻 I… absolutely love it here
They have changed my life
Good therapists
Feel bad for my original review. They accommodated and addressed my griefs
Bigfoot Counseling is AMAZING!! I've seen Sarah for many years. Her knowledge, techniques, and skills have helped me more than words can say. She strives in finding ways to give you the best possible outcome. She's… truly one of a kind. I'm very blessed to have her as my counselor. Jesse has been an INCREDIBLE asset to Bigfoot Counseling. He puts his heart and soul into his work. He got me straightened out with my meds and I'm feeling so much better! Sabrina and Beth are great with scheduling, returning phone calls, and communicating with you. Thanks girls!! I HIGHLY recommend Bigfoot Counseling. You'll feel safe, wanted, and heard in their judgement free environment! Thank you Bigfoot Counseling for making such a difference in my life.
Although Jesse "may" be a good therapist the fact of the matter is he's a workaholic who over promises and under delivers for his clients. Unfortunately we have experienced this first hand with him. My advice is find an… alternative counselor so this doesn't happen to you!
I saw Sarah for years and trusted her with my mental health struggles, including anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. When she moved her practice to Post Falls, I had been seeing her for five years. During a difficult… time in my life, I opened a business while going through a divorce. My mental health started to decline, and I found myself struggling to keep up. Unfortunately, I was late to my appointments a few times. On the third occasion, she dismissed me from her practice. That experience left me feeling rejected and unwelcome, which was an incredibly low point for me. What hurt the most was the sense that financial concerns took priority over care. I even offered to pay in cash to make up for the inconvenience, but it seemed like helping me wasn’t her priority. When counseling becomes more about money than genuine care, that’s a huge problem. On a personal level, I also noticed inappropriate behavior. She was flirtatious with a man named Zach, even though she is married. This ultimately contributed to the breakup of his marriage. It’s upsetting to see this kind of behavior from someone in a profession that’s meant to help people, not harm them. She has caused a lot of pain, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience what I went through. I have seen her out in public and it’s been a couple years now she pretends to not know me. All because I was late!!
I thought it was the ethical practice to contact and get signatures from both parents before treating a minor. Response So you're just going to believe one parent instead of doing your due diligence. Great, it sounds… like you're more interested in making money than doing what is considered ethical practice in your profession.
I absolutely would recommend Bigfoot counseling LLC to anyone who is looking for this service.
Always love everyone here! Bigfoot counseling holds thee best counselors ever. Such a safe place. I'll never go anywhere else!
The best counseling place I’ve been to. Always feel so welcomed every time I show up, as well as my dogs. They get treats from Sabrina the admin as well as the counselors. Marsha is an amazing counselor who has always… made me feel so comfortable and safe. Sarah is an amazing owner as well!
Love the people here. They are friendly and easy to communicate with.
Love these people. The waiting area has toys and games for all ages and you can see from the little white and red sign that they have a sense of humor!
Love this place! Great customer service and they have an old school video game and basketball game to play! Fun atmosphere!
