Brien Center – North Adams

It was difficult and time-consuming to get in but once I did it has been a lifesaver. These healthcare workers have difficult jobs with limited resources. The people I have dealt with have been very helpful and caring.

Only care about a payment from insurance, they could care less about any patient that is trying to better themselves. Go anywhere else but the Brein.

Made an appointment TWO weeks ago for an intake for an IOP (much needed). Got all the way to Pittsfield as I was told that’s the only place they do intakes and was informed that my hour and half was going to be cut down… to a half hour because of scheduling conflicts. So essentially, my mental well being was once again being overlooked. A waste of my time and gas as I live a half hour away!!! Went to north Adams to talk to someone and the receptionist basically rolled her eyes at me, informed me they didn’t have crisis counselors on staff and that I would need my phone. Walked out. This place is ridiculous, hope you’re not having severe issues like me or you’re up a creek with the brien center, these people don’t actually care!

Go anywhere else but here; unless of course you have Mass health, they will just keep the charges going to them $$$. Other than that, you will receive no help.

My experience has gotten much better.

Wow let me begin with the only thing that gets accomplished through this program is paperwork! Payees are terrible! Help is never achieved! Oh and no one ever picks up the phone!!!

They are compassionate and really seem to care about a patients me tal health.

Won't ever be back, this place just frustrates people!! They put you on meds you don't need to be on!!!!!!

Rude front desk assistant or operator. Definitely would not recommend it for service.

The staff that work the front desk are very good at remembering faces even through masks. Everyone here seems to be very caring and supportive.
