Central Utah Counseling Center – Richfield Detox and Rehab Services

Central Utah Counseling Center – Richfield provides detox, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home.

Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask what happens if the recommended level of care is not available immediately. Anyone can ask what a typical week looks like before starting.

What's the point of having a counseling center if you don't help EVERYONE. Should change the name to counseling center for the insured.

Super sad place. You can't get the help you need there.. they are all very rude and don't know how to deal with mental illness even though that is supposed to be their job.

Called to find out information on youth drug/alcohol counseling. I can’t comment on the counselors because the person who answered the call inspired me to go somewhere else. She answered the phone saying hello with no… greeting of business. When I asked if it was CUCC she said um ya. In a way that I was stupid for asking. She wasn’t helpful at all.

I have had a good experience with Randy as my therapist. I also attend the dialectic behavioral therapy group and I find it helpful. The only problem is with the psychiatrist. It was difficult to get scheduled with him… then when I finally did, he told me he was leaving and that another was going to take his place. Then the other one fell through (didn't accept the job I guess). So the transition with psychiatrists has not been good. In that area I would give only 1 star
