MultiCare Behavioral Health – Puyallup

Loved every minute of it, though lost track of time with the extremely long hallways there. The nurses were very kind and the food almost always included a vegetarian option.

This place is wonderful. The staff are so kind and understanding of mental illness. My experience was really helpful. I think anyone who needs help should give them a try.

As a family member of someone who recently stayed there, I give this place 5 stars! The staff is very knowledgeable and supportive to the residents and family members. The phone was answered every time I called and all… my questions were answered thoughtfully. My family member had a positive experience as well and gained a lot of insight about mental illness while being there. A big thank you to John, one of the case managers there. I truly appreciate your time, knowledge and compassion. You're truly an expert in your field!

Very Rude on the phone

Oh this place is ridiculous, my son lived there,was told he had to move,when I asked why,I was told Washington state allows them to evict people with no explanation.I KNOW WHY!! My son is autistic,and they can't handle… it,they say they can but they can't!! They told him he couldn't have his meds,said he refused meds when he was actually asleep! Hegit list,we asked them to call the puyallup police,and THEY DID NOTHING! I sent a complaint to the Ombudsmen, so we will see if they step in.I DO NOT recommend this place!

If I could leave a zero I would. This place does not keep track of their patients well. Or this facility takes on people sicker than should be there. They get lost and have tried to get into my house thinking they were… going back to the Luckett House multiple times. Urinating and defacation in my yard. Pounding on my windows and yelling to be let into MY home. Neglectful of the elderly patients and surrounding community. Visitors seem to go there all times of the night. We have had to print out maps for all the people that get lost trying to find the Luckett House. No one knows how to find it.

I had recent displeasure of a short stay at Luckett House. Not one of the staff greeted me when the taxi pulled up. The staff wasn't very friendly and they hid out in the office most of the time. There was no one to… talk to there unless it was a resident. No counselors or peer counselors, not even a Doctor. The grounds were littered with cigarette butts. The grounds were unkept. The ivy was taking over everything. There were cigarette places (covered), and uncovered for people to go and smoke away from the building but they didn't care and neither did the staff. I couldn't sleep a wink because 1 there were bed or room checks every hour. The place is noisy when you unlock and lock the doors. The beds are just a box spring type thing and they squeaked loudly every time you go to roll over. The I got the displeasure of a roommate that I swear got up every 15 minutes to 30 minutes to go to the bathroom. Oh and to top things off the bathroom sink water faucet leaked making noise. Who in the hell could sleep through that dripping all day and night? The only thing I liked were the peacocks that roamed the grounds. If you are ever in crisis go to the hospital and stay there if you have to. Do Not go to Luckett House in Puyallup, WA.
