Northwest Integrated Health – Puyallup Detox and Rehab Services

The register shows Northwest Integrated Health – Puyallup providing intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

This place has produced nothing short of a miracle in my life. The staff is soooooo kind and caring and non-judgmental. They genuinely care about you and what’s going on in your life. I love that they allow to choose… your own pace on your road to recovery. It’s not just a ‘one size fits all’ kind of program. They really cater to your needs and have been super flexible when scheduling my appts. Can’t say enough good stuff about the staff here. They feel like family at this point.

I came over from the Lakewood facility because I was treated so poorly there (they treated me like a junkie in active addiction who was lying all the time when I wasn’t) I am treated so much better here at the Puyallup… location that I choose to drive 45 minutes out of my way just to avoid being treated so horrendously at Lakewood and to get such amazing treatment at Puyallup. Lakewood actually forgot to order my sublacade shot one month and didn’t have it ready for my appointment. This is the reason I switched to the Puyallup location, because Lakewood flat out told me they couldn’t promise me they would get their crap together but Puyallup could. Every single worker here is incredibly compassionate and empathetic. My provider is Maria and she will listen to me talk about what’s going on in my life, the ups and downs, even if it’s not directly related to my sublacade shot. She treats me like she is lucky to have me there and it makes me feel really good every time I’ve been. She always answers every single question and makes triple sure I understand everything that’s happening. The nurses are an absolute joy to be around. The ones I have had are pros at doing the lidocaine shot to the point I barely feel it and then I don’t feel the actual sublacade AT ALL. It’s really awesome how good they are at doing the lidocaine with just one poke (or what feels like only one at least)

Let me start off with saying that I 1000% love NWIH in Puyallup this review is solely for doctor Qudsia Khan, and that is because I have been taking vivatrol for more than 5-8 months to give you background reference in… which vivatrol is saving my life, during one of my appointments I expressed that I wanted to switch from the shot over to the pill version in which dr khan tried to use fear mongering tactics to switch me away from vivatrol over to suboxone, which if you’ve been in this for as long as me you know suboxone is horrible for you and will turn into something else that you would eventually have to kick to get off, so i again had expressed that I do not want the subs that I wanted the pills in which she then used her fear tactics to again steer me away and then proceeded to tell me that unless I can provide her with documentation from the smart recovery group that I just started she wouldn’t fill it , in a long story short she made me jump through hoops which reminded me of the times when we all lied to doctors when we were trying to obtain prescriptions we shouldn’t have and for me I’m not lying i just want to obtain a pill version of a medication that I’m already receiving , she also made offensive and disrespectful remarks about my accountability . This is my warning to anyone in recovery don’t sit with Dr Khan I feel she has very shady, rude, disrespectful and does not have your best interest at heart both times I’ve had the unfortunate opportunity of dealing with her I question her licensing and motives So in short I trust NWIH but I do not trust her , be aware, be safe , do your research and we do recover , good luck to you all and I hope this helps

Absolutely am a fan I’ve been coming here for 5+ years now and I literally wouldn’t be here today if it were not for this establishment and the doctors and staff. Psychologically, emotionally and physically better for… going to this place not only is the Puyallup location my favorite the west gate location in Tacoma aswell deserves to be recognized! Thank you to all the providers especially Dr. Quadsia Khan(forgive me if I misspelled her first name) she is so compassionate and makes one feel comfortable and not judged. Very important. My only regret is NOT getting their name out there sooner to commend!! Thank you!!

Honestly, I am grateful to every Dr that has ever treated me for anything but the providers at NWIH literally saved my life. I went down a wrong path and became addicted to a substance that would no doubt kill me if I… didn't quit. It wasn't easy and it took me a couple of tries but with the support and guidance of the doctors at NWIH I was finally able to kick the habit for good

I have been going here 4 years. It was great in the begging. Now it is absolutely horrible. Most of the receptionist are so rude and judging you constantly. The new mental health provider refuses to see you. And is… booked months out. The old MHP was amazing buy she recently found a much better jib. Now the other New doc is moving. It is so inconsistent and impossible. If your seeking real help don't go here. If you wanna skate by this is your place. Marina Seaman

I was a patient for about a year. Service at first seemed great about 8 months in to therapy/treatment I would call the front desk for an appointment and never hear back. I called multiple times a week. The MA's NEVER… return calls. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone even if you state you are running out of medication and when in the voicemail. The ethical practice here at this clinic ruins hope I can not imagine the amount of relapses this has caused or how many life's this has ruined. All I have tried to do is continue my care. The care that I deserve.

I am normally a patient at the Tacoma branch and I've never had any problems. Very compassionate, kind, flexible and supportive group of people however the Puyallup branch of the opposite condescending, unorganized,… rude really like night and day I recommend if you ever have to seek treatment that you don't go to Puyallup branch. Folks just don't deserve to be treated like that. Especially people are trying hard to better themselves. Addiction is hard enough already be being treated disrespectfully in the process of recovery is just really disappointing to me. I'm not comfortable even giving them the one star. The girl at the front desk needs to be let go. She's better qualified to work at KinderCare

Today I'm celebrating 2 Years 4 Months. I'm 30 years of age and have struggled with active addiction the past 12 years of my life. Addiction is a disease that effects more than the user; therefore my entire family,… friends, jobs, life was effected. Without getting into too much person detail etc, I wanted to sum up how much of an impact this facility has had on my life. >I'm truely grateful for each &every day I get to wake up, clean and free, from active addiction. My life is great today and I really have all of the staff to thank. Everyone from receptionist to doctors have done their best at helping me to do what I wanted to do for myself. Its not easy, no one says it is. They gave me the support, encouragement, tools, knowledge and care I needed. The owners are amazing people really caring for those in need. I am very grateful for what these folks are doing for others, its truly beautiful & remarkable. Also I'm not alone either, I have many fellow group members whom I see on a weekly basis when we go to NWIH for group counseling, therapy...treatment. Everyone remains anonymous, and most importantly the staff cares and the patients are there for themselves rather then being forced to. 10/10 Would suggest to anyone seeking help/ treatment for alcoholism &/or addiction, as well as mental health treatment. I'm typing this because I read some of the reviews on here and just disagree having been a client of theirs for over 2 years now. This is my story and I'm just wanting to encourage anyone reading this thinking about getting help to absolutely try. I'm living proof it does work, with some willingness and help along the way it is possible for anyone.
