I’ve had a great experience working with this treatment center. The staff is professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to providing quality care to every client. The team works together to create a welcoming and… supportive environment, and it’s clear that helping people on their recovery journey is the top priority. This is one of the best recovery centers I’ve worked with, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and committed treatment team.

My experience at Glasgow Recovery House has been truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a supportive, structured, and caring environment that helped me focus on my recovery and personal… growth. The staff genuinely care about each resident’s success and go above and beyond to provide guidance, encouragement, and accountability. The house is well-maintained, clean, and provides a safe atmosphere where individuals can rebuild their lives surrounded by people who understand the recovery journey. The sense of community and brotherhood here is something special. Everyone is encouraged to support one another, creating a positive environment that promotes long-term sobriety and personal responsibility. Glasgow Recovery House gave me the tools, structure, and confidence I needed to move forward in my recovery. I am grateful for the support I received and would highly recommend it to anyone serious about making positive changes in their life. This program has made a lasting impact on me, and I will always be thankful for the opportunity to be part of it.

This has been the absolute best program I have ever attended. From Duncan, to Ralph, Megan and Miriam I cannot say enough good things about my time here. They have some of the most compassionate and understanding staff.… They are unmatched in their drive, want and ability to put their clients first above any bottom dollar. I hope to not need their services in the future, but if I were to need this level of care again I would only go to them. Thank you for helping me save my life.

When I finally admitted that I had a problem and needed treatment I called multiple IOP programs and interviewed them before I made my decision on whose program that I wanted to attend. After talking with WLAR my… decision was easy to make. I can not say enough to express the personal treatment, support with real compassion that the entire staff from the top to the shuttle drives gave me! The management are actually recovering people like us. I understand that it is a business but you would never know with the sincere one on one personal support they not show you but give you! Thank you WLAR for giving me a new direction and way of life! Douglas W Randall Malibu, California

Megan is by far the best an exceptional group facilitator and a vital part of the treatment team. Her love and compassion to help others can not even be expressed into words. Her expertise in both mental health and… addiction allows her to support clients with insight, balance, and genuine understanding. She consistently meets people where they are and helps guide them toward meaningful, lasting change. Should help you with anxiety, depression anything that you may struggle with or any concerns you might have she will know how to handle and give you the best advice and treatment plan by guiding with her heart for your ultimate success. What truly distinguishes Megan is her ability to create a strong sense of community within the treatment environment. Her groups feel supportive, inclusive, and engaging—encouraging connection, trust, and mutual respect among clients. She brings warmth and intention to every session, making the program feel less like a facility and more like a place of shared growth and healing. Her dedication plays a significant role in making West LA Treatment a welcoming and effective space for any one recovery.

I came to West LA struggling with drug addiction, and this treatment center truly changed my life. West LA Treatment provides outstanding care with a strong focus on both addiction and mental health. Because of this… program, I am finally able to live my life free from drugs and with a sense of purpose and hope. Megan is, without a doubt, the best group facilitator at West LA. She is my favorite because she genuinely cares about every single person, no matter what challenge they are facing. Megan puts her whole heart into helping others, and it truly shows in the way she leads her groups with compassion, insight, and dedication. Her guidance and support have made a profound impact on my recovery and played a major role in changing my life for the better!

I can honestly say that choosing this treatment center was the single most important and life-saving decision I have ever made. Before coming here, I felt broken, managing both substance abuse and deep-seated mental… health issues, but the staff here truly provided the comprehensive help I needed. What sets this center apart is its commitment to dual diagnosis treatment. They don't just focus on addiction; they meticulously address underlying mental health concerns. The variety of therapeutic approaches offered, along with their deep professional expertise, ensured I had multiple avenues to healing that were tailored specifically to my complex needs. The entire team, from the administrative staff to the therapists and group facilitators, operates with the utmost professionalism and skill. The quality of therapy I received was exceptional, providing me with the tools and insight necessary for long-term recovery. Beyond the clinical excellence, the atmosphere here is incredibly supportive. It's more than just a facility; it's a true family. The staff genuinely cares about every client's well-being, treating us with respect and unwavering dedication. We were all encouraged to support each other, creating a unique and essential feeling of community. If you or a loved one are struggling and need comprehensive care that treats substance use and mental health simultaneously, this is the place to go. They didn't just help me—they gave me my life back.

If you are serious about changing your life around. This program will help you do that as long as you willing to do it too. I can’t Thank Duncan and David enough for the opportunity that they’ve given me and my partner… to get our life back in order. The facilitators are all so helpful and caring and will help you have a better understanding about your disease. The sober living homes are also beautiful and very accommodating. This place really cares about its clients and definitely wants you to do well. You just have to want to quit using. Between the staff, the clients, the facilitators, the therapist, the doctors, everyone makes you feel welcomed and everyone is very understanding and caring. This community is something I didn’t know that I needed and I’m glad I have it.

I have to admit, when I first walked into West LA Recovery in Venice, I was expecting cozy therapy rooms and maybe some kale smoothies. What I didn’t expect? A team of legit superheroes—therapists, counselors, and… medical pros—armed with yoga mats, sound bowls, art therapy supplies, and more patience than I knew was possible… The length of Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) are based on clients insurance I believe but the PHP groups are split into mental health and substance abuse. My husband absolutely loves his groups and that’s saying a lot. We sit in classes for about 6 hours a day sooooo keeping us engaged is probably a chore but the facilitators manage with ease. I’m in the mental health groups and I’m learning so much about the disease of addiction and all the effects it had on me neurologically. What really stood out was how genuine the staff were—no clinical robots here! Duncan has really been especially helpful arranging our housing and getting our scheduling for PHP and figuring out our insurance etc. He’s been amazing. They greeted me by name, listened like they actually cared, and offered suggestions that sounded like they came from people, not pamphlets. A bit of meditation here, some art therapy there and suddenly I was feeling more resilient and more competent than I’d been in ages. They accept major insurance and charge around $9.5 k/month—which is way more reasonable than the designer facility down the street that serves quinoa no one’s ever tasted. (Oh! PHP gets catered lunches which are fiiire! Everyone gets snacks and there’s plenty of food) In short: West LA Recovery is like a warm hug from someone who also knows how to crack a joke, challenge you to grow, and hand you the tools to do it—all while still letting you text your mom at lunch. Highly recommend if you want a recovery journey that’s compassionate, clever, yet personal and almost like a family. Couples are welcome. The sober livings are all really nice too!

I discovered who I Am and what I can accomplish and by the grace of God I found West LA recovery. I would recommend the program at West LA recovery for those who struggle with their addiction just like I did. thank you to all the staff for supporting and pushing me to be the best self even when the storm seen it will never pass thank you and God bless you.

I’ve been to five different rehabs in the Southern California area over the past five years and I’m proud to leave this review. In the past, I have struggled with rehabs suggesting I was doing drugs when I was not -… being disorganized/unlicensed practitioners, etc. Today I write this with six months of sobriety. And I can say for certain I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for West LA recovery in Venice Beach. Everyone from the group facilitators to my personal Therapist, to the administrative folks, And the wonderful Psychiatrist and personal doctors who give you their full attention, marks this Center as the flagship facility for Other drug and alcohol abuse, rehabilitation centers to frame their treatment and conduct their businesses after. The facility itself is bright, beautiful, clean and new. Every single client here does not want to leave, and most remain sober which is extremely refreshing from past experience. The location is right near the beach a, the canals and next to Abbott Kinney for great shopping. If you’re wanting to get clean and you want a safe environment to do this, definitely call West LA today. Find out if they take your insurance which they most likely will and do yourself a favor. You’re worth it! Big shout out to Ralph, Kim, Asia, and of course Duncan and David. Thank you for saving my life.

This is "The Place" to go if you want help w substance use disorder and/ or mental heath. The staff here are caring and understanding. West LA Recovery helped me with my SUD and now focusing on mental health. Life is… getting better. I gained an understanding of the underlying reasons that kept me sick and stuck! The Therapists and Facilitators are top notch. The owner David along with Matt, Duncan, Jessica and Ralph believe we can get clean and sober if were willing to do the work. You only have to be sober for today, one day at a time adds up. Theres a family atmosphere here, be part of it as you are worth it. A better life awaits!
