This is my third time giving this organization a chance and once again I have been disappointed with their lack of professionalism. On 4/15/2026, I completed an intake confirmation with Zoe Snider prior to my scheduled… appointment with a therapist by the name of David. My appointment was scheduled for the next day - April 16th at 5:00pm (virtual).. After waiting for the provider for 20 minutes, I attempted to call Zoe. I received her voicemail, so I then proceeded to call the Lifeline Office and spoke with someone who sent over a message. Zoe calls me back 10 minutes later, to inform me that the provider is out sick. NOW at some point, this assistant should have made this aware TO THE PATIENT - way earlier in the day. This has disappointed once again! What a terrible company!!!
I had to go in for "vitals" after being seen remotely for the last 6 years on really short notice then was told I could just go into one of the locations (very far from my house) Then I ended up in the building and when… I showed up it's an open door and there's literally nobody there. It is lights out but like I don't even know. I'm super frustrated and I don't know if people are on lunch. This is 1:41 p.m. And like I don't know what I'm supposed to do right now. So if I miss my appointment because of this like I'm frustrated.
Absolutely, completely, horrible. This place costs $125 for a screening with a man named Mr. Friend who clearly does not like what he does for a living working from his home. He’s not personable, he’s cold, he tells you… if you don’t hurry up and answer his 100+ questions fast enough you will be charged an additional amount for a 2nd session. He’s late to start, he’s impatient and at the end he recommends at a minimum you pay an additional $500 for (2) 8-hour Saturday sessions and PRE-BOOKS THE CLASSES!!! Classes you state to Mr. Friend aren’t required. It’s an ASSESSMENT! Nope this former military cadet believes he’s got authority, cold, controlling and without authority or permission. The worst experience I’ve ever had in any mental health capacity. I had to call the office and email numerous times to get a response that I would not be participating in something so out of bounds and far, far, far away from the care I was seeking. What an awful, money grab on innocent people looking for care. Horrendous!
I just want to give a shout out to the anger management program and Jennifer and Christina ,I took the peace program with them and really enjoyed participating and learning new ways to deal with life , I would recommend… anyone needing this program to do it with lifeline , thanks
The most unprofessional behavioral health place! I went there for 6 years, showed up for all of my therapy and psychiatry appointments. I was doing the work, and finally started making progress. They changed… psychiatrist and after only 2 10 minute sessions, I was asked to leave the practice, and to sign a discharge paper for medicine misuse. Same medication I have been on for 8 years, and the new Dr decided after only two sessions had me literally on my own, no therapy, no meds, and no discussion or conversation. After all that hard work, and progress, I was told to go to a psychiatry urgent care to bridge my meds! I had no warning, there was never any discussion, and I've left several messages with Heather and no response. I was never ever given a chance to even speak on my behalf, just showed up to therapy and told I was no longer welcome there. It was done very unprofessionally, and I refused to sign the discharge paper. I'm not okay with how things were done, and I was left to fend for myself and if I become unstable... It's all on them! Do not go here! Joan, my family wants to thank you for playing God with my life as well as my family's after 2 10 minute sessions, no discussions, nothing! I was even told she wanted to call my Gen pc... why? I've been going to her for over a decade, she TRUSTS me, and knows everything about me. Joan, your rude, judgemental, and I have wittiness that you started our very first session, very first moment with bias. By doing so, you have caused a patient harm. I've been bawling for days now, because I'm so broken hearted, feel betrayed, and feel hopeless now that I have to start all over after SIX YEARS of hard work.
Refuses to provide care for a 9 year old who experience an assault because I don’t have the contact information for her absent father who hasn’t been a part of her life for seven years. I even provided court… documentation proving sole legal and physical custody including the right to make all decisions regarding mental health care. This is not trauma informed. This is rooted in privilege and the fact that an organization can operate like this with no legal standing. This is defined in Arizona Revised Statutes § 25-401(6), which states: “Sole legal decision-making” means one parent has the legal right and responsibility to make major decisions for a child.” So this organization ignores court orders to enforce systemic harm and chooses to create barriers to children needing help. This is harmful behavior and against everything mental health providers should Stand for. I can’t imagine having such poor ethics.
Not organized. Have to go back several times to sign paperwork but u can get zoom appointments after all paperwork is done but the do the assessment on the phone terrible place CBI is better
My therapist is booked. She has very limited availability to see me even though I’m very interested in getting counseling. The lack of flexibility is horrible. This is the first time a therapist lacks flexibility. If I… don’t see her the day and time she wants then she is unavailable to see me.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! All the reviews are true. You have to basically chase them down to get them to give you the info to use their services. They never answer the phone they do not care at all!! Go somewhere else.… I’ll edit this so i can respond to what the “owner” just said. I used your portal and sent multiple messages to multiple people with no response. I left voicemails. Even got to the point where i just came up there in person twice now to even talk to someone. Asked for the manager, Heather sent her email and voicemail and got no response. So i stand on my review. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! They are terrible. And interestingly enough you respond to this but still haven’t responded to my email sent two days ago and still haven’t returned my call.
My wife went here for thr very first appointment they double booked her with another patient after driving 30 minutes were talking back and forth about how the double booked her and they didn't care. Insanely… unprofessional! How can you call this a mental health institute your disgusting people! People are looking for help can now think No one wants to help them! Unbelievable!
Lifeline has been very flexible, consistent, kind, and helpful for us. We have been using them for over a year.
I’d highly recommend avoiding this place. They discharged me without notice and no referral for other services because they failed to bill me for 9 visits after I gave them my card and tried to pay 3 times in office.… I’ve never heard of ending services without notification and worse allowing a $900 debt to build without saying anything. I’ve also heard clients talked about at the front desk which is very unprofessional. They appear to be all about the money. Not a good place for seeking therapy and probably not a great working environment for the therapists if money is the bottom line. Go somewhere else.
Called and left multiple messages to reschedule an appointment , 7 days later still no return call , impossible to get them on the phone. I didn’t pick this place my sons mom did .
If you truly care about your mental health, find somewhere else. This office made me do 2 intake appointments. At both appointments, I asked about scheduling/copay and both times they told me I would get a phone call… with information within the next 24 hrs. They charged me full price and never ran my insurance for the intake appointment. This office also never called me back for scheduling. When I called to follow up about scheduling a few days after my intake appointment the woman on the phone was very rude and told me to check the portal. She then told me that they had scheduled an appointment a few weeks from now without my consent or calling to check if i was available at that date and time. My portal shows no scheduled appointments and they still charged me the full amount for my second intake appointment. This office appears to be very disorganized.
Crazy turn over rate. Child only goes once everywhere week and has has 3 different therapists in 10 months. Gives confidential info away
I had a great experience with the actual counselors themselves, but how this place operates as a business is so sketchy and ridiculous. They tried to scam my insurance, then went over 6 months without notifying me that… insurance wasn't covering my sessions and that I needed to cover the sessions and pay out of pocket from then on. I battled it out with insurance, and Lifeline to try and get my sessions covered and was met with Steve in billing lying about contacting insurance, submitting claims, and then the responses ceased until I reached out to his supervisor. Resolution only came after I got kinda mean. I want to say it's just a money hungry company, but they don't seem to care if they get paid or not, and certainly don't care about mental health. I've also experienced my best counselors leaving this company because of how they do things. Save yourself the headache.
A horrendous experience, this clinic schedules you without even asking availability, they do not return calls within 24 hours. The intake counselor was not competent, I am a nurse practitioner and will not refer any… clients to this practice. I work during a pandemic seeing patients and they want me to have a set schedule to help their staff. This is not how healthcare works especially during a pandemic. Again the worst experience I have ever had in a therapy setting as a patient or as a provider.
Do NOT waste your time with this place. It starts with the NP not providing the zoom link for my appointment. Calling get's you voicemail that once out of four times was returned. The group leaders are a joke.… Unprofessional, not organized, and lack common leadership skills as basic is going over group rules. One of the leaders either sent to me by mistake or copied me in on her message to the other bad mouthing me. The material for the class was suppose to be mailed to everyone. Nobody had the material. They make it sound great with all they offer however the reality is they lack skills, my assumption is they have little to no experience and are just going through the motions.
Most unprofessional place ever. After my assessment I was given the wrong address to the location of the class so that was 1 Saturday lost, next mess up was they sent me a text verification saying I was supposed to show… up to a class on Nov 23rd which wasn’t a 2nd or 3rd Saturday so I called to make sure the text was correct and to verify there was a class being held on the 23rd they tell me yes there is a class on the 23rd so I showed up and was forced to wait for an hour before they told me there wasn’t a class being held that day. Next mistake and the biggest mistake they call me on the 25th 2 days after I had showed up to that class that wasn’t being held they called to tell me I had completed my 2 classes so they were faxing me and the court my certificate of completion, apparently they didn’t mean to do that because they notified the court saying I still wasn’t completed, the judge told me if I got him the certificate before my court date on the 12th I didn’t have to show up in person so because they told me I had completed my classes sent me my certificate and everything but told the court I was not done yet never cleared it up with me I now have a warrant out for my arrest for failing to appear to a court date I no longer thought I had. The only thing lifeline had to say was I can come in for a class next weekend and they will give me another certificate smh so their solution to making all those mistakes is me paying them another $50 and spending 8 more hours with them, it is absolutely ridiculous (Recap) I was given the wrong address by 1 employee making me show up to a bank all the way on the other side of town so missed the class, I received a mystery text telling me to show up to a class I call them to confirm with someone on the phone and not text and they confirm yes you have class I show up and am forced to wait an hour before being sent home with a sorry,an employee called on my birthday telling me I’ve completed my 2 classes the only thing I had to do for the court they faxed me and the court my certificate of completion they then called the court saying ”ooops hes not done” but never notified me to say “hey sorry that was a mix up you still have 1 more class so you might wanna show up to court or anything else you have going on” now their solution is give them more of my time/money and business. Oh and don’t count on getting anyone on the phone in any reasonable amount of time I spent 45 mins in the courthouse lobby 1 day before all of this just trying to get a hold of anyone at any of their locations because the judge wouldn’t let me leave until they faxed the court proof of me showing up the the assessment. That was 45 mins of calling every single one of their locations back to back to back getting voicemail at all of them. I’ve never left a review for a place online I’m the type of person that either will continue to give you my business or I won’t but this place seriously played with my life and they have no solution they don’t care they know they will have a steady flow of people through the courts that NEED to do these classes to move on with their lives. My only good experience with this place was with the gentleman that conducted the class Brian he is a good man I have nothing bad to say about him actually quite the opposite ,if he was the only one you had to deal with in this company you’d be in great shape.
Front desk woman was unbelievably rude and clearly only policy driven. Obviously doesnt care about people...refused to see us because a form was not filled out. A real hateful person. I have no idea if the therapists… were worth seeing...the nasty woman at the front ruined any chance to find out. I would never recommend this place with broomhilda being your first impression.
Both of my daughters received counciling at the Glendale location after they lost someone near and dear to them. They were both seen by Abby, she played a significant role in my children being able to move forward from… this loss. Thank you Abby for doing such a wonderful job. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get grief counciling for themselves or a loved one. CPL. Frey U.S.M.C.
My daughter saw a therapist at lifeline PCS west in Arizona. At the end of her treatment I requested a recommendation letter. The manager Kris told me it would be ready on Monday the 16th, we are already a week over… that point and I still haven't heard from them. They will not return my calls, emails or get me schedule to talk to them about this matter. Their customer service and unwillingness to help and support clients especially children after their treatment and for their best interest is a big concern. If you have kids please do more research before you enroll them in a place like this. I would NOT recommend Lifeline PCS.
Everyone at the Glendale office is great. Very helpful and professional.
The personnel were very helpful,we felt very encouraged and with what was discussed. A very pleasing relaxed and down to earth personnel .👍
