I promise you if it’s anything regarding someone you love do not bring them here! My father supposedly had a uti then he started not feeling well right before it was about to get taken out. He technically died at home… but they insisted that they could save him and bring him to the hospital and he would be “okay” 10 minutes after he got to the hospital he was declared dead when he shouldn’t of even been brought to the hospital. Then me and my brothers requested an autopsy and they agreed and said it was no problem, then me and my family leaves and they refused to do an autopsy because it wasn’t “ tragic enough”!!! i promise you do not come here if it’s serious for and if you’re family or friends. me and my lawyers are going to make Harrington in Webster take accountability for this I need too make sure they don’t do this to anyone else 💯
We have received great care here. I give the medical staff A++
I've been here a couple times, for myself and my daughter. Every time we have received high quality care. This past week I had a scary and painful gallbladder emergency and they treated me quickly and empathetically.… Getting me transferred to Southbridge. I'm very thankful.
Most of the people that work there are nice. The security guard at the front is very friendly. The front desk woman who helped us was nice. We went into the back and waited for hours. This was our second time there this… week so I think they made us wait. My wife popped her shoulder out of the socket in a car accident. The EMT put it back. She was fine for a week or two. All of a sudden her inner bicep started to hurt her where she was crying. We went to the ER. The first time they took X-rays. Didn’t find anything. Said she needs a follow up. She made an appointment but it isn’t for a couple weeks out. The next couple days it kept getting worse. We went back. That’s when they had her sit there in obvious pain as she is crying her eyes out. Finally a doctor says there isn’t much that can be done. No point in more X-rays. We sit there for another 45 mins or so and they give her a shot. That took the pain away temporarily. If there is nothing they can do why is this a hospital. Why wouldn’t they send her somewhere else that day since she was in obvious pain? Doesn’t make sense to me.
This place was AMAZING! I was there today and I got bloodwork done on my right arm. They were really quick with it. I love that! Thank you UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital for taking care of me for so long!… That's my review! 5 stars definitely! Keep up the AMAZING, SUPERB, OUTSTANDING work UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital! Peace Out Y'all!
This is the worst hospital I've ever been to. Went for back pain (I have crohns and colitis) which was more than likely just inflammation in my back. I was treated like I was only there for drugs and while laying on the… stretcher was laughed at by the dr. Completely unprofessional. Then after being there for hours after getting no help or any type of relief the Dr then decided if I had a ride @ 4 am he would give me something for pain. I've never in my life experienced this type of treatment from a hospital. I left with no relief or answers from this hospital. Plz don't go here they are completely useless!
I love this hospital; when I go there, they are super friendly and don't make me wait.
Lab closes for lunch at 12:PM and reopens at 1PM
Came in with 2nd degree burns on my hand. Staff were very friendly and did the best they could. Seems like the hospital is understaffed and under supplied but the staff do the best they can with what they have!
I have nothing, but gratitude for this place. They have been so kind, professional and caring every time I used their services. We all should be grateful for having a health care facility nearby. Thank you UMass… Harrington Hospital Webster for all you do!
Our experience at the Webster ER location was characterized by efficient service, outstanding staff, and meticulously maintained and comfortable waiting areas and restrooms. We would like to specifically acknowledge… Heather (Nurse), Patricia (Secretary), the Security team, and all personnel involved in my son's recent visit. Your collective dedication and compassionate approach are truly commendable. We recommend the implementation of similar standards at our Southbridge ER facility, as current provisions are notably deficient across all areas.
Went to ER for shortness of breath and wheezing. Ordered a chest X-ray and forgot about me for 2 hours. My nurse didn't even know I hadn't been to X-ray when I called her. She gave me a lame excuse that X-ray was… waiting on my labs. Nice try, X-ray doesn't wait for labs. They did a COVID test when I initially went in and then was going to do another one 10 minutes later because they didn't know I already had one. These people have no idea what's going on and they don't pay attention. Kinda scary when you are there for medical help.
I went to the inpatient psych apu facility a few years ago. it was my second inpatient admission in my life. the first facility I went to voluntarily (mostly for medical reasons) as the attending for the cardiac unit… wanted to admit me at another hospital but feared for my life due to all of the covid. that left me going from never being on medications, to being on a high dose of over several, ultimately leading to me completely being disoriented, paranoid and traumatized. i then ended up in Webster. Webster APU took me off all the meds I was on, and put me on 3 that significantly changed my life. despite being previously traumatized, confused and petrified of everything the staff were very kind and patient with me. They helped me for over a month to help me gain my humanity back. I want to especially thank the human rights officer and charge nurse Kurt for working so hard in helping myself and other patients thrive. I would like to thank my entire team, especially my social worker who helped me work through my trauma and my compassionate NP who put her blood sweat and tears into her care despite how difficult it must have been. looking back now, I can say it was the best facility i have ever been to, and the size, community, and staff all played an important role to my recovery. I was even given proper nutrition despite my food allergies and aversions, which i have not received that level of care anywhere else.
This hospital is THE WORST hospital in Massachusetts! Probably in the country! They made my 6 year old WAIT OVER 12 hrs WITH A BROKEN ANKLE NO PAIN MEDICINE NO DOCTORS BEING SEEN NOTHING. This is literally disgrace to… all healthcare workers and all hospital this hospital should be shut down! They put us in a DIRTY ROOM that they had to clean after already being in it! Said the wrong persons name when coming to give my daughter medicine before she even saw a doctor!
Been here since all day an they won’t feed me
This hospital has gone downhill since it became UMass Memorial. Do not and I repeat DO NOT stay for treatment if Dr. Gordon MacDougall is working. He will ignore you until you say that you are leaving then he will come… over and tell you he wants to help you. I was laying in the hallway on a stretcher, he walked right by me twice as I was crying out loud and writhing in pain thinking my appendix was going to burst. Nurses also walked by many times seeing how much pain I was in and neither the Dr. or nurses stopped to see if I was okay. I left after being ignored in that hallway for 4 hours bawling my eyes out. I gave the Dr. a lesson in empathy, told him not to Bill my insurance company and left without treatment. He did bill my insurance company and sent another bill for $336 from his private practice which I believe is fraudulent billing. Go elsewhere for care if you can. Dr. Gordon MacDougall just doesn't care!!
Horrible nurses, they're all just sarcastic. If you dont like the job do somthing else. The nurse Renee and some other lady dont care about you. 0 star for the both of them. Ifnyoy see Renee on your mychart just go to… southbridge.
I hope everyone reviews this comment. My friend went to the urgent care here last night for treatment and was discriminated by just the color of her skin. The doctor that was attending 7 to 9 pm was very rude and… unprofessional. If your going have a racist doctor with and attitude that show caring than why is this doctor on staff? My friend was in a lot of pain and was treated like trash. I hope anyone else that has been treated like give your reviews. I have reported to medical board for this terrible behavior.
Webster psychiatry is really bad I’ve been calling multiple times to reschedule and I’ve not got one answer in over a week this is necessary
Terrible.
I came to webster for lab work because uxbridge closes for lunch. I drove out of my way to webster and lo and behold, closed for lunch. Some people go for services during their lunch hour, like me. UMASS, PLEASE POST… ACCURATE HOURS ON YOUR WEBSITE. I checked the hours for today and they are 6:30a - 3pm.
