About Ness Center – Mandeville
Ness Center sits at 23699 Quail Lane, Mandeville — around 5.3 miles from Lewisburg and 5.7 from Lacombe. People travelling from Lewisburg, Mandeville, Lacombe and Abita Springs are all inside 9 miles. Mandeville sits in Saint Tammany County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.
Ness Center delivers detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. Licensing sits with the Louisiana Department of Health, alongside federal SAMHSA registration. Approved medication runs alongside counseling, which is what medication-assisted treatment means in practice. Co-occurring conditions are handled concurrently rather than one after the other. Some contact can happen by video rather than in person. Veterans are a named group here.

Ness Center – Mandeville Detox and Rehab Services
Ness Center – Mandeville offers detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before.

they're booked up
10 out of 10 recommend Dr Tyler Wansley! He and his staff are friendly and make you feel very comfortable in what can sometimes be an awkward or uncomfortable appointment in the beginning!
The Ness Center has saved my life and given me a new family where there is love and hope. It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before in recovery. I’ve been in and out of rehabs and AA for 30 years. I am now properly… medicated and sober! Brian Mcnulty is an incredible and passionate individual who actually gives a shit! As a counselor he educates and explains the brain disorder of addiction in a way where you want to listen, learn and laugh. That’s right… I said laugh. He’s pretty funny too. There is joy at the Ness center!
I wish I could give it a ZERO! they change nurses and Drs and patients have to do without necessary medication on a regular basis. Unless you’re a desperate homeless pregnant woman (that program is like jail but you’re… not homeless) AVOID this place! They say they offer MM but force you into repetitive IOP that helps 0 percent and you have to wonder if you’re going to be well medication wise
I have called this facility several days and left multiple messages to contact a family member that is Inpatient for 6 months. I have not gotten a call back from staff and I have been passed around multiple times. I am… not happy with the way this is being handled. people care about their family members. and I have zero information because apparently no one can reach back out! absolutely absurd
The Louisiana Rural Ambulance Alliance (LRAA) has had the privilege of partnering with The Ness Center and Toni B. on several impactful initiatives focused on the health and well-being of both our first responders and… the rural communities we serve. Through this partnership, we have successfully implemented wellness and Mental Health First Aid programs that provide critical support, education, and resources to those on the front lines of emergency care. Toni’s leadership, compassion, and expertise in behavioral health have made a lasting difference in our organization and throughout the communities we serve. Her dedication to community wellness and her ability to connect with first responders in a meaningful way make The Ness Center an invaluable partner in our mission to strengthen healthcare across Louisiana. We highly recommend Toni B. and The Ness Center to any organization seeking to create a meaningful and lasting impact on mental health and community wellness.
The content of the Autism class i took through the Ness Center was very informative and easy to access.

Best on mental health/substance abuse hospital on the Northshore!
Absolutely the best on the Northshore🩷
I love Sonia and the Ness center! They have been here for me through my darkest times.
The Ness Center provided me with the education, recovery plan, and life skills I needed to rebuild my life. Brian, Jasmine, and Sonia were incredibly supportive and truly made a difference. I’m grateful and hopeful for… the future—highly recommend to anyone ready for a fresh start. Danielle Price
Life-Changing Experience – A Safe Haven for Women and Their Children I cannot express enough how grateful I am for this rehab facility. One of the most amazing and unique things about it is that you're able to have your… children with you while going through treatment. That alone changed everything for me. I didn’t have to choose between getting help and being a mother—I could heal while still being present in my child’s life. The nurses here are beyond helpful. They treat you with compassion, respect, and genuine care. One nurse in particular, Ashley, made a huge impact on my journey. She always made time to listen, never made me feel judged, and truly cared about how I was doing—not just physically, but emotionally too. Ashley, along with the rest of the nursing staff, created a safe and supportive environment that made all the difference. Pam Cook is the heart of this place. Her absolute goal is to help the women here succeed—not just in recovery, but in rebuilding their lives. Her passion and dedication are clear in everything she does. She sees your potential even when you can’t see it yourself, and she never gives up on anyone. If you’re looking for a place that supports your healing, values your role as a mother, and surrounds you with people who truly care—this is it. This place gave me hope, strength, and a second chance at life.
Great place would recommend to anyone in recovery.
The staff at the Ness Center is amazing.
What a great place..:)
Everything is good wish they had night classes so when I had to work in day time I could come at night
Great knowledge on how addiction works in our Brains! I absolutely Love the program. Great staff!! They offer transportation and food twice a day.
I've been here at Ness for a couple weeks and so far I'm really enjoying it.
Thorough and professional staff. Full trust in Brian and Sonia. They make recovery easy to where you want to show up and participate. The medical staff are very polite and understanding. You can tell that “all” staff… have you in their best interest. Would gladly recommend any future clients. Gabino Ponce
They told me I would have an in person visit for my child then hours before appointment sent me consent for virtual. He spoke on the phone with I’m assuming a counselor then we never heard back from them. This is very… unprofessional and I don’t want my child having to get used to person after person with no consistency to feel comfortable and open up. Found a WAY BETTER place, oceans in Hammond. So if your on Medicaid (I’m assuming this is why I was treated this way) go elsewhere for the sake of you and your child!
