⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars - Exceptional, Compassionate, and Life-Saving Care I cannot say enough good things about Swedish Edmonds. This hospital has been there for me during some of the most critical moments of my life, and the… level of professionalism, care, and customer service across multiple departments is truly unmatched.Most recently, over Memorial Day weekend, I was admitted to the Emergency Room with severe infections and cellulitis that were so advanced I almost lost my eyesight. It was a terrifying experience, but the entire ER team stepped up flawlessly. The doctors, the CT scan technicians, and the nursing staff were all incredibly kind, compassionate, and caring. I want to give a special shout-out to Garrett, a nurse in the ER who went completely above and beyond. His dedication and helpfulness made a massive difference during a very scary situation.My gratitude to this hospital also goes back years. When I was younger, I was a patient in the inpatient behavioral health unit a few times. The staff there were always deeply professional, understanding, and supportive, providing the safe environment I needed.Even after my medical treatments, the high level of service continued. Whitney in the medical records department was wonderfully helpful and highly professional when I needed assistance.From life-saving emergency interventions to mental health support and administrative help, every single person at Swedish Edmonds treats you like a human being, not just a chart number. I tried to go there 2 times, the first time it was not great. But the second one was horrible we waited for like 4 hrs in the emergency department without doing anything to us (2 youth having fever and general fatigue… with sore throats). I wouldn’t go there again for any reason, I prefer to die in peace than wait forever in this horrible place ! Highly not recommend for even those who hate u, don’t make my mistake and save ur time !

Medical staff at Imaging Department graciously provided me with utmost patient care from the chest Xray tech to front desk to phone scheduler - efficient, proactive! Their advanced computer system, helps as well. Thank… you, Swedish Edmonds.

I had a minor procedure on my back at Swedish Edmonds last week. Every member of the team was awesome and helpful towards each other. It was my third time there and each time was a good experience.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and goes out of their way to make a good experience. The medical team is thorough, more than competent, and listens well.

Everyone worked well as a team. Don't see that everyday. But.... 1 thing i really didn't care for is being told "it's ok" .... it's not by the way. It took everything not to panic. So..... when the nurse was putting the… oxygen on me. The tube was all up in my 👁 eye's . I was trying to get it out of my eyes when the nurse said what she said. Other than that the experience was wonderful and thank you 😊

All was well; the doctor doing the injection seemed a bit checked out but did an excellent job and very focused during the procedure. Lol -- at one point, he commented "good enough" - not my favorite comment but he did… what counted!! Made adjustments until it was perfect! Everyone from scheduling to check in to prep and follow up -- excellent!!

This is my experience with Swedish via taking my friend into the ER. He was first admitted for loosing consciousness while doing normal activities. This was not watching tv or folding laundry. This was him loosing… consciousness while doing normal activity’s. At first it was doing small stuff like watching tv or sitting down. We thought this was weird but not alarming. then it was while working or standing. He started getting very drowsy and falling asleep during normal daily activities. We edged him to go to the ER and he did. Swedish Edmonds was the closest so he did. He was honest about his drinking and recreational activities. They sent him away telling him that he just needed sleep and partied to much. After his dangerous symptoms continued he went back. They still attributed everything to his drinking and cocaine usage. Even though I asked him to make sure they take him into neurology because I was worried it was a neurological issue because he was passing out doing any activity. Showering, putting on his clothing, making food, driving! They sent him away again from Swedish! Explaining his parting was the issue. Finally I was talking to him he had not worked in 3 days was still having issues and did not drink. He passed out over his coffee table and broke it. He passed out hit his head on his apartment window. He was terrified I was talking to him and he passed out again over the phone. I raced to his apartment 45 minutes away forced him into my car. Immediately took him to uw medical ER in seattle. I researched best hospital for neurological issues. Turns out he didn’t have that. He had severe sleep apnea and could not release the carbon monoxide from his blood. He had such high amounts in his blood it was causing him to pass out. If Swedish would have even given him an once of belief. This could have been handled in house. They are very lucky he did not pass out and hit his head and die. I was already pissed at how they treated him but if he died because of their discrimination and carelessness I would have drug that whole hospital through the ringer! Yes every hospital is understaffed and yes sometimes things fall through the cracks. But this hospital with these doctors decided that he was a drug addict and couldn’t have a real medical condition. Not 1 time but 2 times. He came in twice for help and received not only judgement but no true medical care. After seeing them he fell asleep at the wheel, he passed out and cracked his head on his high rise apartment window, passed out and broke his coffee table. Each time he was disoriented and injured. They chose to believe he was on drugs. I took him to the ER at uw. Instantly they got him a room. He was going in and out of consciousness in triage the doctor that assessed him instantly didn’t not assume drugs were a factor but assumed his drug use a coping mechanism due to his condition. we were very honest about his habits. The doctor explained that his usage was probably to self medicate his medication condition.

The best care team ever!!
