I can see why this place is rated so low after my first PCP meeting with Courtney Guerrera!!! She was really nice& thorough in the inital visit. However, since then she has refused to give me a referral to a specialist… which I have diagnosed conditions for, I had to go through another specialist to get my referral!!! The WORST follow up care I've ever received. Who wants to get scary test results, to wait over a week to just get a BS answer, that the provider doesnt know what to do with the results. Incompetent providers and incompetent staff that work for them! I would never waste my time going here!!!! If they can't do anything for me why would I want to go back?!

ive been here over 60 times. People can say they didn't get help or didn't get sober but its not because of sstar its because you didn't do the work to stay sober. this place has kept me alive through the years when I… needed to get off the streets or was sick begging for help. I always got accepted no matter if I wanted to get sober and stay sober or not! the one time I put all the work listened to all the suggestions let someone else run the show ive been sober since. Going on 7 years. you can complain about the staff and whatever other excuses u want but it comes down to either you want to get better and will do anything you can to do that or your probably going to use or drink again. parents this place didn't fail your child your child didn't do the work but don't give up it took me 15 years in and out 154 detoxes endless sober houses two times dying to finally be willing to do whatever it took to stay sober. I know have a wife a son a big house in a neighborhood that I still say I don't belong in my dream car and im beyond ok in the money department! it all started at sstar thank you both Andreas bob tommy Melanie Sandra John and Barry and the co sandy mike anyone else i missed for never judging always allowing me to come in thank you I live a amazing life because of people like you all! people stop bashing this place its up to u to get sober this is the place you go to begin that journey.

They need to have a negative 1 star. If you are trying to get sober or off drugs this is not the place to go. This is the most unorganized facility I have ever encountered and promise you one thing and then basically… treat you like a piece of trash. Please go somewhere else for your sake of your loved ones!

Over a year ago I was referred to this place for counselling since I was going to be moving into Fall River, and this was my first experience with counseling and a psychiatrist ever. It is nothing but a nightmare trying… to get anything scheduled the way I need it to be scheduled. In person counseling went fine for a couple months, but then it got to a point where it was getting difficult to reschedule appointments and I ultimately gave up on calling for a while. Eventually I attempted to schedule things again since I needed a change in meds because the ones I was on were of no help, and I was looking to get back into counseling since it had been 3 months without attending. When I called back, I found out that the counselor I had been with was leaving and I was being assigned to a new counselor, and then my appointments kept getting messed up by the people scheduling them for me. I would call the front desk to schedule, say specifically what timeframe I'm free and that I need to call over the phone, and I would somehow get scheduled for mornings in person. Eventually I got a call saying that my new counselor that I had been assigned to, that I never even got to meet or speak to, was going to be on leave and that I would be assigned a temporary counselor in the meantime. I was told I would be called with the information of a new appointment and I never received this call for over a month. I shouldn't have to repeatedly call the office for them to do their job. Also the number I was given for my psychiatrist I guess doesn't work, I'll call and leave messages and no one ever gets back to me unless I call the front desk numerous times until I can eventually get an appointment through. I'm sick of having to jump through hoops for my mental health when I'm having a rough time. This is unprofessional, and I would not recommend this place at all. Unless you want to fight to try and get your meds reupped, have your appointments not scheduled correctly to your preferences, and have to ring them consistently just to get somewhere, then I would stay clear of this place. I'm frustrated and I'm done.

Getting your med refill is like walking thru fire. Doesnt matter what it is, you have to call them 500 times - either no one answers, no one checks the med line, or youre on hold for a hour. when sstar says the best way… is to req thru pharmacy, well you do that and then sstar doesnt approve or deny it from the actual pharmacy, this place nothing but a methadone mill its all they care about.

Yo, how do I tell this place I don't want their services? I was apparently referred to this place by my MassHealth insurance and the email just said they were going to work on being on time for doctors' appointments.… Ok, rude, first off, second I live nowhere near Fall River so I ain't going there, and third they are lying according to this website, and it seems to be a mental health rehab facility, which I am 1000% not in the need for at the moment. I blocked their email and office number but a woman named Tracy still tried to contact me today. Get them to stop, I refuse their services! Edit: MassHealth wasn't much of a help (I think their number got hacked) but WellSense got the job done.

This place is fabulous. If your serious about recovery then this is for you. The staff is phenomenal and caring. I had a truly awesome experience there. The food isn't the best but it fills your belly. I can't say… enough good things about this place other than there needs to be more places like this. Thank you for taking care of me when I couldn't take care of myself. Eternally grateful to the staff. 10 stars from me!!!

Just simply not enough to do they expect you to sit around in between group time doing nothing and with someone with severe adhd and anxiety I always have to be occupied. Staff was not understanding, the supervisor… there gave me attitude for no reason almost triggered me in the beginning but I kept through few more days and I completed my detox and tried the CSS step down program but in the end they took my fidget toys away L program. I feel bad for the staff there so miserable. The only people that will last here is old men who already are old and like to sit in there bed and do nothing I’m 22 with high energy. No way to workout or go outside terrible program my honest opinion very depressing

7 month long waiting lists for bad psych services. Do not go here for counseling. I waited that long for a counselor who was not interested in his job or my wellbeing. Find somewhere that has the staff and expertise.
