TruHealing Baltimore – Gwynn Oak Detox and Rehab Services
The provision listed at TruHealing Baltimore – Gwynn Oak is residential treatment and sober living. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Transitional accommodation appears on the record for the period after intensive treatment. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

TruHealing Baltimore – Gwynn Oak Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 1825 Woodlawn Drive, Gwynn Oak, Maryland, 21207. Baltimore County covers this area. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

0 stars would be generous, but Google demands at least 1 star. This was, without question, the worst treatment facility I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, there were red flags. Of the two nurses present… during my intake, one appeared visibly impaired. I was misled from the beginning. I was told I was being admitted for medical detox, but when I arrived, I was informed that I was expected to be a 30-day residential patient and that there would be no detox as I had been led to believe. It then took three days for me to receive my prescribed medications. By day four, I left because I had lost all confidence in both the medical and administrative staff. When I raised a legitimate grievance, there was no meaningful attempt to address it. Instead, I was essentially told that if I did not like the program, I could leave. That is not a grievance process. That is dismissal and intimidation. During my time there, I did not encounter a single BHT or counselor who gave me the impression that they genuinely cared about providing quality treatment. The atmosphere felt like people were simply trying to get through their shifts with the least possible effort. Many groups were also facilitated by other patients rather than qualified staff, which made the entire program feel even less professional. The facility was chaotic, poorly managed, and unprofessional.
It's a great staff. Thanks again to Mr wolf. Pass my word to keep doing what your doing. And thanks again for all the advice.
I was at the program for 35 days just for them to send me home with no Suboxone and no one will get back to me. If I wasn’t strong enough, I’d be right back on the street so beware of leaving the program without your… medication after staying there and allowing them to get your insurance for 35 days and then I’m not giving a shit about you. If they truly cared about me, they would’ve gotten back to me or made sure that I had my medication. Most people are there for 7 to 5 days and I was there for 35 because I didn’t go to a recovery house like they wanted me to I guess I do not matter.
"I don't know what you're even doing here." Those were the last words from my case worker, Jamie, as I was trying to be released at my own expense because they were over two hours late. I went in for a 7 day detox and… Jamie (who appears to run the show) told me in advance it wasn't going to work. That brings up at least two questions: Why offer offer a service you yourself don't believe in? This behavior case worker, Jamie, whose last name I don't know, is a disgrace to the entire profession of mental health and substance abuse treatment
I can't recommend TruHealing enough. If you read negative reviews, take them with a grain of salt—recovery requires rules, and the structure they provide is the reality check most of us desperately need. The absolute… best part of the program is the staff. The techs have walked in our shoes (many are alumni of the program), so they truly understand what it takes. A special shoutout to Rodney, Tim, Marquese, Andre, and Eric. They are incredibly down-to-earth and genuinely care about your success. TruHealing will help you get your life back on track and give you the tools you need for your journey afterward.
They quite literally gave me marijuana. The doctors wouldn't give me my medication. No therapy or counseling. If I wanted to sit in a room, watch TV and get high, I can do it much better at home. This place then kicked… me to the curb when ai confronted them. They're just a bunch of minimum wage employees, if you can call them that, that don't care about you. You're better off getting sober at home because this place will make you reach for a needle.
Just terrible. Staff was alright Jamie was very respectful and helpful along with kat but turns out I got a prescription filled there April second and by April 7th I was sent to another facility with a completely empty… bottle of welbutrin that was freshly filled at their facility. I don’t know why they’d fill my prescription just to rob me of it and now I suffer but, what can you do. Sketchy facilities have sketchy doings. Do yourself a favor and just Goto hygia.
I want to thank the entire staff of Woodlawn. My detox and pain was unmanageable, but the support and love I received made it so comfortable for me. Thanks again, the entire staff.
Stole my pants I know for a fact I thought I left at home I live alone nobody got a key where is my pants moe
Proud to provide services to clients with SUD disorder. Offering grief counseling, trauma therapy, HIV/ Hepatitis testing and treatment availability with 24 hour nursing care!
Great place to begin your journey to recovery. Knowledgeable staff, many in recovery themselves.
Felt lied to the entire I brought in chewing tobacco since every other rehab services offers it, let people in treatment smoke indoors but god forbid you bring in a can that’s never been broken. Was basically forced out… over that guess something someone can spit into a cup and throw away is more important to the small percentage of people trying to recover to avoid asthma attacks but you all keep doing you and you’re cult like atmosphere. And btw they take clients out once a week to buy cigs if they can afford it but if not they’ll provide? 🤔 sounds like this place is sponsored by a mega cig company if you’re asking me. I wouldn’t recommend
