What has been created with Blue Heron Recovery and Los Patios is truly impressive. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the history and character of Los Patios make it unlike any typical treatment facility.… Set on approximately 18 acres along Salado Creek, Los Patios has been part of San Antonio for decades. The mature trees, beautiful gardens, historic architecture, walkways and peaceful natural surroundings give the property a character that simply can’t be recreated overnight. To take a property with that much history and beauty and give it such an important purpose is pretty remarkable. Blue Heron has created an environment where professional treatment, recovery, community and the outdoors all come together in a setting that feels welcoming and peaceful rather than institutional. You can tell a tremendous amount of thought and care has gone into both the property and the program. Blue Heron Recovery and Los Patios are doing exceptional work in a truly exceptional setting, and I highly recommend them

Such a lovely little place that feels like home. The staff and doctor at this place is by far the best I have been to, and most importantly they make sure you dont suffer through your detox. The staff here is so caring… and make you feel like you matter when your brain is telling you that you dont. I cannot recommend Blue Heron Recovery enough. I attended both their PHP and IOP programs, and they have had a profound impact on my sobriety and recovery. This is the most down to earth, caring facility I have ever been too. I am walking away feeling more confident than any other place. Detox is impeccable and the people genuinely care. I owe my sanity to Parker and the… staff.

The nursing staff is very helpful and nice… that’s about it. It’s clear these owners do not care about sobriety whatsoever. As long as the check clears, they’ll take just about anyone. It’s so sad when you have staff… that care but owners who just see this community as a cash-pig.
