About Sagent Behavioral Health – Sartell
101 Dehler Drive in Sartell puts Sagent Behavioral Health inside a short drive of Sauk Rapids, St. Cloud and the towns around them. That radius takes in St. Cloud, St. Joseph, Waite Park and St. Stephen, all within 9 miles. Sartell sits in Stearns County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.
Services run to partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medication-assisted treatment is part of the offer, the approach with the strongest evidence for opioid dependence. Co-occurring conditions are handled concurrently rather than one after the other. Video appointments are an option here. Veterans and serving personnel are among the groups served. SAMHSA holds the federal registration; the Minnesota Department of Human Services the state license.

Psychiatrist will change your meds and not even tell you. ( havent seen her in 2 months, appt next month) Doesn't listen to your concerns and makes you feel like a number not a person. The website is aa nightmare and… unusable!!!
My provider is awesome. Attentative, professional and thoughtful.
Great experience!! Great therapist. I would definitely recommend 😀
All they want is the money it seems. 0 respect for there patients it seems. Haven’t been seen in almost 2 months and continue to be charged for nothing. If you have other options for medications or therapy take it. Not… worth the price they’ll hit you with at the end
I just feel that the testing that was done was meaningless. They are great people though. I just feel like I wanted to explode as I felt the test they used on me where stupid and not gonna do anything for me
The experience was sad they don’t take care of their patients needs with anxiety they could actually prescribe me anxiety, drugs, Like Klonopin Ativan Xanax or any other benzodiazepine, but they said I violated a drug… contract, but I had to prove in a court of law because I was arrested with my anxiety drugs on me without the labels because they were stolen a year and a half prior to the incident involving my Arrest I won the case, but still that doesn’t matter to these people I am still not allowed to be Prescribed my anxiety Drugs it’s really sad
Providers take a very long time to reply to messages. Or don’t reply at all. Waiting room chair smelled of urine. DO NOT RECOMMEND. it’s near impossible to get ahold of a nurse or for them to return a call in a timely… manner.
I could feel the sincerity of the staff right from day one. The group counselor has a wonderful sense of humor . As well as the empathy of a genuine human being. No judgements here, just the passion to educate and the… patience to listen to all individuals who need support and recovery.
Don't expect to matter to them, you are just billable hours. Do not expect honesty. Do not expect to be cared for like a patient. Ever since the buyout, they have become the reason people NEED therapy and not the reason… they are healing. I have severe anxiety issues and have been trying to get an ARMHS worker to help for nearly 2 years. My therapist kept putting in referrals and we never heard back. I use Google screener to not answer spam and stressful calls, so I don't have panic attacks. Turns out the number that was calling me and hanging up on my screener had been them. My therapist put in the notes to email me or speak to my screener/leave a voicemail. They did not follow basic instructions and boundaries, completely disregarding my accomodations needs. I only found out it was them after their automated system finally emailed me and basically said it is on me now, even though they lacked the respect to follow my accomodations needs. If this is how they respect boundaries when you are trying to pay them, how bad is it going to be once they already have you as a client? This just shows they lack all trauma and autism aware procedures and that shows me who they are. I might still have to do ARMHS through them, because they are the only one with openings. I don't know anything beyond this, since I have not worked with them, so take my review as my experience and opinion, others clearly have had better experiences, based on the other reviews, just needed to put my experience out there. Edit/Update: After my review, they "magically" found my accomodations needs and after corresponding with them directly, they decided to lie to me and tell me they had left detailed voicemails, which is odd for 2 reasons, first is I answer every call I get, just with Google call screener, so not likely, and secondly, I have not had voicemail setup on my phone for nearly a decade, much less stress and easier on my anxiety. For those thinking "maybe they left what they thought was a voicemail but to your screener?" I looked through every transcript of that screener for their numbers and the transcriber had nothing but blank noise. So, they are not acting like they are trauma informed and they are willing to lie to cover it up. This place is genuinely not safe for those in need of mental health care. I would not ask my enemy to go through them, let alone anyone I cared about. Such a shame, they have bought up so many clinics that many will be forced to go through this nightmare, just or get inadequate and possibly harmful care. Essentially, my update is that it is worse than I initially stated, and they so far seem unwilling to be honest or accept accountability, both of which are critical for proper mental health care. Please, if you can go anywhere else, do so, this place has proven they can not be trusted with your mental health.
What's wrong with that place?... Racist receptionists!... They laughed because I asked if anyone spoke Spanish!... How racist!... I don't go there because I want to, but because I need help with my depression…What a… disappointment!! … Now I understand why it has bad reviews… Starting with the receptionists…
I feel very comfortable with my therapist. She/He understands very well where I'm coming from. Agent also has polite receptionists. Thank you!
the people i have talked to thus far have been lovely, my only concern is that despite me not listing any way to contact him, they called my father (who was a former paitent of theirs) asking when i would be scheduling… an appointment.
The staff theire are really nice and very helpful i would recommend them to anyone
The facility was nice and spacious Steven D did the first half of my psychological assessment and I’m coming back Monday to finish the rest of the assessment
Kudos to all the staff and counselors I have been in contact with thus far at Sagent.! I would highly recommend for anyone with mental health and behavioral needs.
He is amazing to work with.
I had a horrible experience at the office in Duluth 5 years ago by getting yelled at by a psychiatrist for showing up 5 min late (my anxiety was bad before the appt so I step out to get fresh air). Since then I was on… edge about coming back to Nystrom for more support. I found a psychiatrist in another place here in St.Cloud and he used to work at Nystrom/Sagent. He recommended me to come here for DBT programs and I hesitated cause of happened in Duluth. I guess you could say I was a bit traumatized and I was avoiding of coming here. My Psych eventually convinced me and I’ve decided to make a call. I want to thank Kelly Walters for making me feel more comfortable about this place and the programs. I’m looking forward to keep working on myself and now knowing I’ll be ok here 🙂
