Raleigh House has been a huge support in my sobriety journey. I’ve been to several treatment centers in the past, and Raleigh House truly stands out because the staff genuinely care about you as a person. They provide… great support for both substance abuse and mental health, along with helpful structure and guidance. I especially appreciate the aftercare opportunities and continued support they offer after treatment. The staff have been patient, understanding, supportive, and encouraging throughout my experience. I’m grateful for everything Raleigh House has done to help me continue moving forward in my recovery. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and supportive treatment program.
I'm grateful for my therapist here. going to therapy has really changed my life. I'm glad I found clear mind therapy
The Raleigh House has helped in so many ways. The therapist Riley at the ranch was amazing and helped me work through so many problems that I had a difficult time talking about before. Kiristen the therapist at DTC is… great at getting me to open up and helping me collect my thoughts and feelings to get to the root of my troubles. All of the BHTs are amazing at connecting with clients and making us feel welcomed and safe. Rico is the best alumni coordinator we could ask for! He does an amazing job bringing us together and creating fun activities for us to bond over. We’re so lucky to have him! Ann is also a great clinical director who takes care of us and if extremely accommodating with our needs. I highly recommend the Raleigh House! It’s changed my life and so many others.
I had an exceptional experience at the Raleigh House. I learned so much during my time there and am genuinely grateful for the people who made the experience meaningful. Sober Saturdays with Rico were always a highlight… and some of my favorite memories. I also want to give a special shoutout to Brandon, who was my favorite BHT. His support, kindness, and positive attitude really stood out to me. Overall, I’m thankful for everything I learned, the connections I made, and the growth I experienced. I would absolutely recommend the Raleigh House to anyone looking for a supportive environment and a place to grow.
DTC was a journey of recovery, staff and therapist and nurses and BHT’s made the community worth the struggle of going through a detox and mental health crisis. Rico always brought in amazing alumni to help patients… feel valid in recovery and that one can get to the other side. Rebecca the counselor helped groups feel worth it, she always came up with amazing ideas and always helped each participant feel valid. Shawn the therapist worked through every problem I had and now on the other side I can confidently say I have the tools to help myself. The bht’s, Erin, Josh, Jamie, Danille all helped patients feel at home. The nursing staff helped people feel safe and were always on top of meds, specifically Yebbers and Nathan were my favorite . This place helped me get through treatment and I would recommend anyone to come here for detox and recovery of mental health. When I came here it was the worst day of my life, these people comforted me and I will be eternally grateful. It’s structured enough to help and make sure everyone get better. Thank you for everything.
I was very impressed with The Ranch. The staff were very compassionate and tried to accommodate the needs of everyone to the best of their abilities. In my opinion, the counselors were in tune and pushed just the right… amount to address the uncomfortable things, but not so hard to be unbearably uncomfortable. The groups adressed everything from childhoods traumas, schemas, inner child, core self, family dynamics and more. The BHT's (behavioral health technician) were the best. Always willing to listen and help when able. I have done a couple treatment programs before this one and I can honestly say I got the most out of this one. It was intense and totally worth it. If you're willing to put it in the work, I highly recommend the RH.
I really enjoyed most of the program. I loved Tracy who was honest and fair with me. Other therapist I felt was unhelpful at best. An issue came up where I am immunocompromised and another guest got ill. No one warned… me or made her wear a mask so I felt I was unduly exposed. 4 more people ended up sick by the end of the week and staff did not contain it. The program is extremely hard but I believe it was overall helpful. Afterwards they have an alumni group that was super nice to be a part off.
It's been a great experience! It's really helped me out. All of the staff members here really care about people and want to see them grow. You're in a safe and comfortable place here and they help you find the next… steps after you leave too. Shoutout to Shawn, Jamey (especially for everything at Monaco), Brandon, Barbara, Lee, Erin, Sean, Sedona and Joshua! For my time in PHP and IOP, the therapists upstairs were super helpful and really wanted to work with us to support us in moving in. They're really involved in our lives and seeing us succeed inside and outside of the program. They really care. They really want to see us grow and find our safe community. They're mot just here to do a job but to see us be successful in life. Shoutout to Steve, Sunny, Colin, Sara, Kristen, Paul, Kiristen, Felicity, and Rico! Come to sober Saturday!! It's awesome! Thanks Rico! It's such a good community!
Tried to get outpatient rehab here for my husband and we got the address wrong. Can't afford the gas to drive there and they wont refund his mom the money so he can go somewhere closer to home. WHAT A JOKE . You dont… want people to heal you just want their money. Its gross.
I had the best time at the RH. Med staff is amazing. Especially Erin. on the night staff. So loving and caring. I recommend this facility to anybody that needs help. You will be glad you picked this place. Amazing… therapy sessions, Good group talks, Their main focus is to get you better and happy again. Just relax take it easy and see them if you have a issue. You will not regret it.
I recently completed this program and it’s mostly changed my life! I just wanted to send a special shout out to Bree Aka Brittney She talked me down from leaving so many times and was there for me at the hardest point… she deserves a raise honestly! But anyway, anyways, thanks to NBRC for being there for me and helping me get back to me
Raleigh House The Center did amazing things for me. There were some issues with things being broken and the food being repetitive but what they gave me was well worth that! The groups were amazing and the outdoor… meditation was really eye opening. I also met some amazing people that I keep in touch with.
Great program with phenomal therapists. They take a dual approach to substance use disorder by also addressing the mental health aspect. Every person who’s been through multiple in-patient treatment centers says that… this one is the best.
This program really helped me out! Everyone here really cares about people and wants to see people succeed. As long as you put in the work, the program will be successful.
This place is life changing. Take controle of your life
Great staff, great therapist and a great program. Helped me get back on my feet.
I had a wonderful experience at the Raleigh House. They stand out from other programs with have a nutritionist on staff and classes that support which was very helpful for my recovery. The staff were friendly,… supportive and flexible. The groups were informative and interactive. I made a lot of friends in the program too. It was a positive uplifting community despite the reasons we were all there. They gave great resources during discharge too.
Amazing treatment center! Couldn’t have asked for a better place
The Raleigh House was a great experience and has helped me immensely in finding my path forward! The staff really cares for everyone in their charge and the program does a great job on working through both SUD and… mental health challenges. I’m very fortunate to have spent time at this facility and will always be grateful to them and the community I built while with them.
This was my first treatment center, and has helped me so much on my recovery journey. Clients and staff are all wonderful. Would recommend to anyone looking for substance use or mental health treatment.
My Raleigh house was great, exactly what I needed in this time of my life. Small group of people, amazing staff. The therapist are all very different and facilitate awesome groups!
If you're looking for a place to help destroy your relationship, ruin your family, and have no commitment to any kind of family therapy this is the place for you. I'm sure most places would agree that family therapy and… interaction is important, not here though I'm sure they have better ideas. Also I'm sure many places feel that returning phone calls is important, but here they have a better way of doing it. They just don't bother. However what they do is provide their own sense of what's going without collateral, force on others their own opinions, and quite frankly do a job so terribly that I'm in the process of talking with lawyers. The one thing they are good at is making sure they call you about the bill. They're very good at that...so congratulations! Also they think it's a good idea for residents to leave together. I can tell you for a fact from experience that residents should never leave together because it sets a bad tone for recovery trauma bonding and such. As far as setting up aftercare, no none of that here's your prescription Go on your own and get it figured out. If I had the choice between this place and talking to somebody on the corner of Colfax give me Colfax 10 out of 10. If anybody's interested in hearing about the therapist there please feel free to contact me I'll tell you everything you need to know. Basically don't send your family or friends here.
I have a lot to say - and this barely scratches the surface. I want to start by distinguishing the center from the ranch. I did residential and PHP at the ranch and had a wonderful experience, so when I stepped down to… IOP at the center I was shocked at the stark difference in quality. I essentially gained nothing from the IOP groups. We had 3 hours of class a day, and the first hour was a check in where everyone rated their anxiety, depression, and cravings. Meaning 1/3 of my time at IOP was wasted because no one got to dig into things they needed to process; it was very surface level and the therapists were never engaged. The check ins were something they needed to do to mark off an hour of the day and they didn’t dive into any important points. The rest of the groups were only slightly beneficial due to my peers. Therapists would come in and state a topic, and then the group discussed. The therapists were physically present but had minimal to no contributions to any groups. When clients brought up that they felt they needed more direction and educational experience, they were told by therapists it was on them for not taking it seriously enough and being on their phones (no one took out their phones during group unless it was for a quick 10-second check very periodically). Clients were also bullied into extending their stays. Court letters were held over heads, blames on insurance, and many were even told they would relapse if they discharged. Raleigh would say that they couldn’t discharge because they needed time to support in aftercare planning, but I do not know a single client who received this assistance. When people were finally able to discharge, they received NO help with everything Raleigh said they needed to keep them longer for to set up. Everything that was shown to me as a “selling point” was a front. Not once was I given access to the gym, rock wall, salt room, trauma yoga, etc. They said IOP was a transition and they wanted to help clients set up things such as job interviews, but then tried to place clients on behavior contracts for missing 15 minutes of class for an interview. This made no sense, especially given that during PHP at the ranch clients would miss programming for interviews that staff would drive them to without issue. 1:1 therapy was more harmful than helpful, so I won’t dive into that here because there aren’t enough characters to describe the level of gaslighting and disrespect I received. These issues were continually brought to management and disregarded and even blamed on clients. The therapists were immature and gossipy. If they were slightly challenged they would become defensive and petty. They would report the client for being “difficult” and even if there were many other client witnesses to say the opposite their perspectives were not valued due to the power difference. When a peer was discharging and said “thank you for everything” to two therapists, they were met with snarky giggles and whispers. It honestly seemed like they did not want clients to be succeeding or using their voices. The reliance on AI throughout this program is astounding. It was dehumanizing and removed any personal touch. There were never group plans and if there were worksheets (rarely) they were AI. More often than not, therapists read their entire topic presentation or descriptions off Gemini. Any questions brought up by clients during groups were googled right then and there to be answered by Gemini, including basic questions that even I, who does not have a masters degree in social work or clinical psychology, knew without AI. One time, a fairly simple definitional question was proposed to a therapist during group, and she immediately began typing. A client jokingly said “let’s see what Gemini has to say about it” and she actually responded “that’s exactly what I’m doing!” Overall, I feel so lucky that I was in a determined, motivated, and stable mindset entering this IOP. I cannot imagine the damage that receiving this kind of “therapy” would have done when I was in need of support.
My experience at The Raleigh House has been incredibly meaningful, and a huge part of that comes down to the people who dedicate themselves every day to helping others heal. Tammy has an incredible ability to listen in… a way that makes you feel truly understood. Her calm presence and thoughtful responses create a space where it feels safe to open up. When things feel overwhelming, she has a way of grounding the conversation and helping you see things clearly again. Rebekah brings a nurturing and passionate energy to the groups she facilitates. She doesn’t just lead discussions—she creates an environment where people feel comfortable being honest and vulnerable. You can tell how deeply she cares about the work she’s doing and the people she’s helping. Nathan stands out for his thoroughness and his ability to really connect the dots. He takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense and helps you understand yourself better. More than that, he has a way of inspiring people to take their recovery seriously and believe that real change is possible. Francesca brings such a positive and relatable energy to therapy. She’s someone who clearly strives to grow and improve constantly, and that dedication shows in how she works with clients. She meets people where they are and makes the process feel human rather than clinical. Sedona is one of the most compassionate and thoughtful people in the community. She’s always willing to listen and make time for someone who needs to talk. Having someone like that around makes a huge difference when you’re doing difficult work. And Ann truly is the rock of the community. She leads with strength, but what makes her special is her willingness to step out of the leadership role and just be human with people. Her groups are intense, challenging, and incredibly productive. She pushes people to do real work, and the results speak for themselves. Recovery is hard work, but having people like this guiding and supporting the process makes a world of difference. I’m grateful for the experience and for the dedication each of these individuals brings to helping others rebuild their lives.
I spent 30 days at The Raleigh House DTC, and it was truly an incredible experience. I’ve been to several other treatment centers in the past, and this was by far the best one. The therapy sessions and group programs… were extremely helpful and really focused on getting to the underlying issues behind substance abuse and mental health struggles. The group leaders were professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to, which made it much easier to open up and do the work needed for recovery. All of the staff—from therapists and group leaders to the office, nurses, and night staff—were respectful, friendly, and genuinely caring. You can really tell that they love what they do and are passionate about helping people. Sean, Nathan, Stacey, Erin, Ben, Sedona, Franchesca, and Rico were especially supportive and kind, and I’m so grateful for their help during my time there. The facility itself was extremely clean, organized, and comfortable with big rooms and great beds. The food was also amazing. Their gluten-free, dairy-free, caffeine-free, and sugar-free approach really helped improve my gut health, which had a positive impact on my mental health as well. They have a great gym and a spa with a sauna, sound bed, and salt chamber. Another amazing part of the experience was the community. I met wonderful women there that I still talk to every day, and those connections have been incredibly meaningful. I would highly recommend The Raleigh House to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health. I’m so grateful for my time there and truly love and miss everyone!
This place is kinda goated. I’ve been to one other treatment center before and this one blew it completely out of the water and I thought I liked that place. I love that it’s a smaller community, no more than 20 people… at a time it really lets you grow connections with people that are far deeper as you are pretty much just living in a house with them. Def a lack of windows which is tough, but there’s an outdoor patio area that’s very helpful. Staff was amazing, therapy was amazing, groups were amazing. Really just felt comfortable here! Thanks yall
Thank you Raleigh House you changed my life
