About Turning Point/Franklin County – Saint Albans

Turning Point/Franklin County operates from 182 Lake Street in Saint Albans. The site sits in Franklin County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include St. Albans. Vermont draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at Turning Point/Franklin County

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

A great place for recovery support. I feel a bit "outed" currently. Thanks google (joking). I am care taking my mother and her sig other and have decided to seek support in not drinking while I am here, at least. I… really enjoy the noon meetings! Mostly older retiree folks but some younger people pepper the meetings also. All around very welcoming to new people. I have a bit of experience with the turning point club of Rutland so I felt pretty comfortable just showing up.
