THEY SUCK AS A FORMER CLIENT B WARE THERE ALL ABOUT THE MONEY AND NOT THE CLIENTS AND NOTHING IS PERSONAL EVERYONE IS VIRTUAL EXCEPT FOR CLIENT WHICH HELPS NO ONE....

DO NOT EVER COME HERE OR BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. THEY WILL NOT HELP AND ONLY MAKE YOUR PROBLEMS WORSE. Stopped going when I was 19 due to Mrs just throwing medication at me and when I would complain that it made me… feel angry or more depressed her solution was just up the dosage which made the problem worse. At one point I asked her if she ever even used the cheek swab test my parents had been told HAD to be done(which wasn't covered by insurance and cost a LOT) to tell what medication would work for me. She said no she didnt need to bc she had seen my brother and whatever had worked for him would work for me too. Im not a doctor but even I know thats not how medication works. Add on to that im 98% sure she was violating HIPPA as after every appt she would send me out of the room and call my parents in even after I was an adult. They would say things that I never told them but I had told her. She would purposely cause me to have anxiety attack during every appointment and then blame me for "not being able to control my emotions." She is a horrible doctor and should have her license revoked.

Almost lost my job due to doctor placing me on a brand new drug that was pushed by a pharmaceutical sales rep. Unclear instructions were given on how to take medication causing me to take more than necessary. Violated… HIPPA by releasing my records via email to the wrong place (not even a doctors office). Billing department could not keep it straight, tried to bill me for more than i owed, had to prove that i had paid with receipts and proof of appointment cancellations by the doctor. Insurance billing mix ups. Two appointments would get booked on the same day for convenience and then repeatedly cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Showed up to appointments where the doctor had cancelled without notice. Doctor claimed i had high blood pressure after trying to talk to me while getting my blood pressure checked, causing my blood pressure to rise. Doctors are condescending, one of which asked me if i was lying to her about the use of illicit drugs and then challenged me to a drug test. The doctor asked the receptionist to perform the drug test, which she refused because shes not licensed to perform it.

They are not helping me to get my life straightened out and seem like they are avoiding and they don’t care abt what I need to set my goal and respect my feelings and they against to LGBTQIA society because I am… bisexual and I feel comfortable to chap a therapist that who is LGBTQIA knowledgeable culture and history and they judge my look and my opinion and my lifestyle what I want and need from to sext my goal they are bad people I work with that why I stop going there for counseling and I am stating all over with Chesapeake Health Care mental health they support LGBTQI and they are LGBTQIA friendly as well they are a family to me understand what I went through

So many hurdles to jump through, very inflexible in schedule and demands seem suspicious. Unprofessional but nice staff. I'd not recommend this if you're here for basic help, absolutely meant and built for drug addict… recovery.

Unprofessional does not begin to capture how dirty this clinic has done me. The billing team is non-existant and only bills when they feel like it. I have not been a patient of this facility for going on 6 months, and… yet I have claims hitting my insurance as late as a few weeks ago. Every attempt to contact and pay for my services has been useless as I call the billing extension, pass messages up through the front office, etc. Nothing. This does not begin to even describe my treatment while a patient. After asking to work towards a diagnosis with Dr. Jani, I was shamed, and made to feel like my request was unreasonable. After this initial appointment, I was then told the Dr. didn't feel comfortable meeting with me anymore, and refused to refill my medication, after continuous attempts to reach her and ask her to refill before cutting off contact. My appointments with Tina Carter were unsatisfying and frustrating to say the least. From the first appointment, I was stigmatized and talked down to. She put Substance Abuse on my record despite absolutely no evidence and refused to take it off until I took a drug test, at which point she still did not remove the "diagnosis" from my account. I tried to give it a chance, but I couldn't make it work. This facility is a nightmare to work with, please go literally anywhere else.

Horrible people, don't return calls, one appt. no followup, nothing. Who runs this place? Had Appt. with Tina Carter one time, no followup, Called Amber Peter many times, no response from her either. Stay away from this… group, they are fraudulent

I absolutely was appalled at how I was treated the amount of mental have instability that I got from them.

This company is terrible. They bill you prior to your appointment and then miss the appointment time so you pay for sessions you don’t get. The doctors never get on the virtual call at the time of your appointment. I’ve… been left waiting 30-45 minutes AFTER my appointment time for the last three weeks before giving up. You can’t ever get ahold of a doctor and the staff that operates the phones at the Salisbury and Cambridge locations are terrible. They never send you your appointment reminders or your links to new doctors and each one you speak to blames the other for any “miscommunication”. Nevermind the fact that they’re rude and quite illiterate over the phone. They hang up often and argue with you. I’ve been with CBH for a year now and I’m done. I’ll be finding a new psychiatrist. Should’ve done it 6 months ago when I was prescribed my millionth different med in 6 months because they just shove new pills down your throat when one doesn’t seem to work. Stay away.

Great place to get the help that is needed and very much understanding.

I missed my first appointment because it was set to an in person, even though the person I talked to and myself both agreed to do an online appointment. Then when I asked why the switch happened, the substance abuse… therapist or whatever her job was, decided to discharge me with the only reason being the fact I was "being rude." And she used the fact she could discharge me as a threat to make me "calm down" and when I pointed out the fact that isn't a very good policy to follow, threatening patients, she hung up on me.

This place was very unorganized and front desk staff never seemed to have a clue to what was going on. The therapist I was seeing always rescheduled my appointment and not tell me. I would arrive to my scheduled… appointment and be told it was moved to another day!!! The one doctor who I had seen was ok. I told him I was not looking for medication and from previous counselling experiences, I would benefit from talk therapy but he would PUSH heavy on medication without even listening to why I was there in the first place. I had to switch therapist because I could not even talk for 5 minutes without her interrupting me and telling me "people have it harder" than I did. Very unprofessional and would not recommend this place to anyone who was serious about getting support and their mental health in check. Most of the staff seem welcoming and caring at first, but the moment you are behind closed doors they are unprofessional and never give you a chance to talk through anything you are dealing with.

I have been going to this facility for over a year and finally had enough. Most of the staff are great. The therapist my son saw on a weekly basis was amazing. The doctors are the issue. There was never any consistency.… They rotate doctors so you never really get any helpful advice because you are having to retell all of your issues for each appointment and each doctor has a different opinion.

sadly when you see ratings that are so far apart and no real middle ratings one has to ask themselves who is the real problem. So all I can say is the staff on all levels has been great. Sometimes I wonder if they… debrief the staff enough. I mean some of these kids and parents I see while waiting for my appointment drive me crazier than I already am lol. If everyone you meet is a jerk maybe the jerk is you.

Very unorganized in every department. The billing department kept losing my checks and over charging me. The doctor never listened and literally shook her head back and forth when my son and I were talking. Our… therapist was awful and barely paid attention to my son when he talked. I also let them know of a tic my son developed on a medication and they shook it off, always wanting to "up the dose" in the end we ended up in the hospital from it! One day we went in for an appointment and our therapist was gone. Fired I guess, they never even called just stuck us in a room with a woman we never met and didnt know my son at all. Didnt even seem like she read his file! Its awful.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is unprofessional, unorganized, and has absolutely no respect for their patients. Therapist (most) are condescending and always run late or cancel appointments WITHOUT… informing patients. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Front desk receptionist are rude and never seem to have any idea of what is going on. If you are looking to get better, DO NOT go here!!! This place is a joke and I cannot believe they are legally allowed to run such a chaotic establishment.

One of the most unorganized, inconsiderate so called doctors office I have ever been to. The staff as well as the woman Doctor they call Mrs. is rude and very ignorant. My son was treated as if he was nothing, a nobody.… They talk to you like you are lower then them. Computers NEVER work. Appointments are made that you know nothing about and then they get highly upset with you for not keeping the appointments. You can call and re-schedule yet they say you never called. Do not take your family member or yourself to this terrible place. If you need help you need to find someone who cares and CBH is NOT the place!

I came here to get help for anxiety but the unhelpful, uncaring, and chaotic environment of this place just made it worse.

While things at CBH can get a little hectic, it's never been worse than your average doctor's appointment in my experience. The staff are patient and understanding, the handling is expertly done, and they capably hold a… necessary balance between professional and friendly. A wonderful facility overall.
