Freeman Recovery Center LLC – Dickson

I have been to treatment over 30 times and by far this has been the best experience. These people have accommodated me with all of my needs and trust me I had a lot of needs! lol I have never had the type of love that… Freeman gave to me and my wife. They have the best of staff and the types of clientele that were in this facility were awesome also. I made some lifelong connections at this place and really found out a lot about myself. I found out what my triggers were and really dug deep. They are the only place that accepted me and my wife after she called over 40 places. I promise there needs to be a standard for having a couple in a treatment center because it can be done. Not saying anything about "becoming a couple" in a treatment center because I wouldn't recommend that. We were married before we came in. So if you are struggling with addiction and you are married, this is the place to go. They will accommodate the two of you in the most appropriate ways possible. We talk every night about how much we miss the comraderies that we have gained here. If your struggling, reach out to these people because they will help you. IF they can help a guy like me get sober then they can help anyone get sober. Thank you Freeman for all of the hard work and dedication you put into making this experience a once in a lifetime experience. You rock AND we love you!!

I had the absolute best experience here at Freeman Recovery Center, it was by far the absolute best treatment center I have been to. I looked forever to find a place that would take me and my husband. Let me just tell… you that was difficult in itself, this place opened up its doors for us and came through in all aspects. We both got some good recovery and we both got some good experience here. The staff was extremely great and the facilities were top notch! I highly recommend them to anyone in search of treatment no matter the level of care! My therapist was awesome and she really helped me manage some of the things I struggled with. Without a doubt pick up the phone if you need help. These people will help you whichever way they can. They helped us with transportation from 3-1/2 hours away and didn't sweat it. If there was an option to add an extra star I would do so. Thank you FRC for all that you have helped me and my spouse with, we love you!

Over all the reviews I have left on places I have visited, this one I feel is the most valuable. I spent a short part of my life here at freeman and I could not even try to say anything was bad about this place. They… gave me a safe place to lay my head, and , "reset". The tools to change and become the person you need to be, are available to everyone, and, I am thankful for the people who made them available. "Paul C." Is the one I will be forever grateful for, and consider my friend. He had the most impact on me from the very beginning and would not be where I am today without him. He sat without judging and listened to me rant and rave and kick and scream and never once did I ever feel like he didn't truly care about my well being. He made sure I had what I needed, and never once asked for anything from me other than just to continue on the path that made me a good person. Paul C single handedly led me to safety and as I said before I will be forever grateful. Thank you Paul, and thank you freeman! ... if your struggling with nowhere to turn and no options, these people are genuinely there to help you amd want you to make it.

I loved it. Everything and everyone worked great and patiently with me. Mr. Paul and Mr. Chad were two of my inspirations along with quite a few more. I would recommend this place to anyone who is serious about their… recovery.

Freeman Recovery has truly changed my life! I have a better understanding of who I am and that I'm not alone! They offer counseling and help me with figuring out why I used drugs and showed me that I can change my life… and love myself again! Marty Perkins has shown me that God's plan for me is better than the old life I was living! His classes are game changer and you feel the love of God from each class he teaches! I didn't love myself when I got here and Freeman Recovery has shown me that I'm worth the fight!!! Thank you for loving me and helping me and showing me there's a better way to live life!

This place is saving lives!! Freeman Recovery has been a game changer in my life. They are supportive and understanding, never judging me only encouraging me to do better with my life. I live in Lawrenceburg and I feel… like I have a new family here in Dickson TN. They make sobriety a reality. They have counselors and case mngt. And a whole medical staff on site! If you're looking for a better life Freeman Recovery is the best place to start, I thought my life wasn't worth fighting for in my addiction but Freeman showed me that I'm worth the fight, I love my sobriety and I have Freeman Recovery to thank for that! Specializing in First Responders, Veteran, and Active Mil, Magnolia Meadows/GRIT was exactly the place I needed to be for my PTSD recovery. The Staff is A+ and they make you feel like family when you arrive. They give… you what you put into the program. If you are willing and open minded this facility is exactly what you need. They are experts in a variety of treatment options. They also have a 5* Chef and his trusty Sous Nick. Andy is down to earth and VERY caring when preparing the menu/meals. If you want a 5* facility for your Mental Health/Addiction needs. The first step is the hardest. Show up and give it everything. I promise you will not regret it.

Freeman became a miracle in my life.I was able to get my life back together with the help of God and Freeman. I am now able to be a better Husband, Father, and grandfather. The way I always wished I could be but never… thought I could get there. I have been clean and sober for over a year and my life is completely different and amazing. This would not have been possible if I had not gone to Freeman, they were there for me when I was so down. I now own a home, run a business Holy Rage Boxing and am truly happy. I would not have been able to do this with out Freeman Recovery Center.

My brother was a patient here who was involuntarily removed— he did not choose to leave. When I flew from Denver to retrieve his belongings, no ID was required and no one reviewed what he checked in against what was… returned. A significant amount of clothing and personal items never made it back to us. When I inquired, staff claimed he verbally authorized giving his belongings away — something he flatly denies. On top of this, we have been seeking a partial refund for his unused program time given that he left involuntarily. Despite MANY emails to leadership over several weeks, we have yet to receive a single response. Families should document everything carefully and request an itemized belongings receipt at check-in and check-out.

The entire facility, staff, and housing are incredible. Loving staff will take their time to do anything they can to help, Very clean and loving environment for anyone struggling with addiction to get on their feet and… grow. I’ve seen this place bring families back together. Highly recommend sending anyone I know there.

I spent 3 months at Freeman Recovery and I couldn’t recommend it more. The staff is kind, caring and so helpful. They are very knowledgeable about addiction and treatment, as most of the staff have been there themselves… at one point. Comfortable houses, a loving community and counseling is all top tier. Can’t thank Freeman enough for my time there, I would go back or put my family through this program, anytime needed.

When I got to Freeman Recovery Center in 2022 I was addicted, hopeless and at rock bottom. I had never been to treatment before so I had no idea what to expect, I was just trying to get clean. my Counselor Paul Cruz and… Shelby Miller showed me love, compassion and what recovery looked like. They had faith in me when i didn't have faith in myself. Over the course of 13 months in treatment I learned how to live life on life's terms without using, I learned how to be a productive member of society and they gave me the tools to recover. I now work in the recovery field that's Christ centered, i owe alot of my success to Freeman. If you are struggling with addiction and need help I would strongly suggest reaching out to Freeman. The team at the center have the clients best interest at heart and will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and can heal. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

Freeman Recovery Center truly saved my life. Honestly, I don’t even want to think about where I would be without them.I went through both the PHP and IOP programs from Sept 2025-Nov 2025 and I’m so grateful that I did.… The counselors and staff there aren’t just doing a job for a paycheck—they genuinely care. You can feel it in the way they talk to you, the way they listen, and the way they push you to become better. They want you to succeed, to stay sober, and to live the life you deserve—the life that’s actually possible once you choose recovery. Every single person there, no matter their role, showed up with kindness and care and made a difference in my life especially house tecs Ashley and Victoria, in php Ryan, Christopher, Savannah, and Brandy were also a huge part of my journey and helped me more than they probably even realize.In IOP, Spring, Billy, Maddie, and Ryan continued that support and helped me keep building on everything I had learned. Even the drivers, like Earl, played a role in my recovery. They don’t just help you while you’re there—they give you the tools you need to carry your recovery with you long after you leave. I have met some amazing people also who have became my best friends and very important in my life even after I have left and so thankful to have them apart of my life as well. Because of Freeman, my life is better. And because I am better, my children’s lives and my family’s lives are better too. That means everything to me.

If you are looking for help please look else where. They will lie to your face and once they get you in, it's terrible. It was the worst experience I've ever had trying to seek help for Alcohol. You e been warned, enter… at you own risk.

I came by to ask a question and the staff was very standoff-ish and rude, if you're looking for good customer service I do not recommend.

Just here to say thank you to all of the staff at freeman for introducing me to a new way of life. Just like nearly any other program not everything is perfect but its not like we were perfect to begin with or we… wouldnt of been there. I also specifically want to say never let them tell you that relationships wont work fresh out of recovery because I found the absolute love of my life and the mother of my daughter at freeman and WE TOGETHER fight addiction as a team!! I was given the privilege recently of touring Freeman Recovery Center. Zach was gracious enough to show us around each facility and informing us of the full array of services offered. The staff at Freeman care deeply… about their clients and their mission. Also, The interior and exterior of the buildings were very aesthetically pleasing. This is the worst place ever my blood pressure has been really high finally got go er because it was 200 over 50 I asked them check it today and they want I'm shaking blood shot red dizzy and all this is the worst place… ever!!!!!!!!

Out of the many rehabs I've been to,hands down this place was exceptional and the staff are amazing,they really treat you like family,and I've been clean/sober since I graduated, Nov makes 2yrs,thank God for freeman!!!

Freeman is not just a recovery program. It is a way of life. The simplest most rewarding program that will change your life if you take certain suggestions.

This place is a fraud! Please spare yourself and your loved ones the time, expense and hassle of Freeman. They couldn't care less about their clients - they pay only lip service to the idea of sobriety. The clients run… wild, are not safe or cared for, and the program is only interested in how long and how high they can bill your insurance. It's borderline fraud. I speak as a "graduate" who is motivated to stay clean and sober if only to avoid having to experience again the nightmare that is Freeman. Everything deserves better!

This family is amazing..they will change your life. The medical staff is Second to None..
