I have too give special thanks to Mrs Sandra . From the minute I walked thru those doors, until the minute I left . I always felt I was in good hands . If you have the desire too change and get sober . Then look no… further . Help is just inside
This place has saved my life and gave me hope for my Life. Thank you very much to all .
The therapist want you to listen to them and they date clients

Recovery Place/Women's Residential is a disservice if you are in need of treatment for addiction. They have no structure when it comes to the clients and care plans or recovery. Being a resident there it takes roughly… 2-3 months before you are able to speak with a case manager/counselor. While you attending these groups which are lead off by readings of worksheets daily. Through that wait time your needs are put to the side. Which I think is bogus. They provided me with a handbook which I went by and when followed I was punished because the handbook was outdated. At that point everyone was given a new handbook. Being a resident at Women's Residential I was not aware on how a book study should be held. During book study the ladies were doing nails, reading novels, chatting and some even playing board games. Nothing to do with AA/NA. I reported it and I was told I should take the lead. How, I was thinking when I am new to recovery myself. NO STRUCTURE. Keep in mind we had to sit outside in the heat/ rain. The Case Manager/Counselor have no respect that you are in recovery unless you have a TANF case or DRUG COURT. Then they kind of handle you with a little care. The only care they have is Cares's and Concerns. Which that has absolutely nothing to do with treatment. That's a form of being messy. If the 24 supervision was actually happening you wouldn't need a care and concern. My experience at Women's Residential has been a living nightmare. No to mention the maintenance man is sexual inappropriate. I was told to not say anything and a week later was discharged not only by false cause but with no concerns on if I had anywhere to go. The focus there is fantasizing, and they still had residents who came there with liquor in water bottles. I can go on and on. The top concern is paying $125 and if you can handle being talked to in a DISGRACEFUL way and love a chaotic environment take that risk. KEEP COMING BACK !
Unless something has really changed in the 3 years since my daughter was an inpatient, these comments on the 1 star reviews are way off base. Read them with skepticism. Recovery Place has over 30 years experience and… would not be around if it was not working. Recovery Place was just what my daughter needed and saved our lives.
Lifesavers. Trust the process.
Staff is very rude and the entire place has very poor communication skills. If you go to this place be prepared for them to be condescending and gaslight you into thinking you are the rude one. They aren't here to help… you, they just want money and will try their best to get as much money out of you as possible.
This place needs to be shut down. The staff is extremely unprofessional. If you or a loved one(s) need detox, do yourself a favor and don’t even bother with these people. They bully, treat patients with upmost… disrespect, and then proceed to lie about their actions to cover themselves. This place is a JOKE! There are better resources available.
Avoid this facility at all costs. Their only concern is the financial aspect of the business. There’s no true care for the individual and no accountability is taken from the ownership and management. They need to follow… the words that they try to preach, totally hypocritical environment.Bottom line is the money is what drives this facility not the care. Empathy doesn’t exist and that should be first and foremost.
The bare minimum
I had gone there for counseling to adjust to life outside of prison and they helped me to adjust to where I am a productive member of society.
Avoid at all costs. Staff was very unfriendly.
I would absolutely not recommend that anyone put their safety, recovery, and life in the hands of this center.
They have a great recovery program here. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Definitely Recommend,
This is the gold standard of substance abuse treatment. The clinicians are the best in the area and their programs save lives. I routinely refer clients to their providers and will continue to do so.
They care for others.
Great.place! Great people! The staff here is excellent and they really do care about people! I'm very blessed I had the pleasure of going there.
I HIGHLY suggest shopping around before making any final decisions about entering any of the programs at Recovery Place
Do Not Go Here. Prison.
Would give zero stars if I could. My advice is to avoid this place like the plague. Counselor was rude and unprofessional. They cancel your standing appointments without any notice, and tell you, that YOU should've… called before coming. It also takes an act of Congress to get a refund.
