Wekiva Springs Center – Jacksonville Detox and Rehab Services
Wekiva Springs Center – Jacksonville carries a listing for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Wekiva Springs Center – Jacksonville Address, Location and Contact Information
3947 Salisbury Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32216 is the address held. This address falls in Duval County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Wekiva Springs Center – Jacksonville Reviews and Ratings
Whether you are here to read reviews of Wekiva Springs Center or to write one, this section is the place. Patients, family members and professionals who know the Jacksonville program are welcome to contribute.
I had a very good experience with Wekiva Springs Center. They gave lots of opportunities for healing such as counseling, group meetings, exercise area and even swimming. They provided patients with clothes, food and… snacks as needed. It's a great place to get your mind and meds corrected in a safe environment. They are very good about checking up on patients to make sure they are safe. I really loved working with Charles as a counselor. He even prayed with me when asked. Amazing staff!
My stay here was actually super!!! The groups sessions helped me through so many emotions. I felt seen heard and loved. I was not sure what I would be walking into but this was a great healing experience.
Lexi is the best and I am very interested in joining the outpatient program. She has been very helpful with the process from inpatient to outpatient and I look forward to seeing you all when I begin outpatient services.
Good
Taking my time to write this review to express my gratitude to all of the staff at Wekiva that handled my daughter’s care with such care and professionalism. After bringing my daughter here, by her own choice, we were… made to feel comfortable from the initial intake to her last day there. Her care team was amazing, supportive, and very communicative with us every step of the way. After her stay we talked with someone, I believe her name was Alexus, who was so sweet and helped us get her set up for outpatient treatment so that she can continue in her journey to recovery. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone involved!!
Wekiva did an excellent job with my cousin. She finally got the help she needed and I will certainly recommend Wekiva to anyone who wants help! Lexi, who is the Step Down Coordinator, was an intrical part of my cousin's… release. Lexi came and talked to my cousin about outpatient services and was so sweet and understanding. Lexi is a true asset to Wekiva. The entire experience that my cousin had has helped her tremendously! Thank you Lexi and Wekiva for the exceptional service you all provide to the patients!
We had a very positive experience with Wekiva Springs Center. A family member of mine was cared for here, and I’m incredibly grateful for the compassion, patience, and support they received. The staff treated them with… kindness and respect during a difficult time and made our family feel reassured that they were in good hands. I truly appreciate everyone who played a part in their care and would recommend Wekiva Springs Center to families looking for a supportive and caring environment.
I have a dear friend there. She actually lives with me. She kind of had a mental breakdown after her husband passing not just that she's had A I TU for a year and they keep giving her prescription medicine, I asked, why… does she always have A ITU there has to be something else, so I looked it up. Something called panda. And it can actually make you have mental breakdown.I'm not a doctor I'm not sure of this, but it makes sense. But we took her to the hospital , they admitted her , and Center off to this place. We have not been able to talk to her. We're told she's there, then we're told she's not there.I'm not trying to get no one fired , but I had Someone that works there., say something to me that made me very concerned for her safety.I have called the sheriff department and had them go to a wellness.Check. I fear for her safety right now. And they are hiding something. So i'm telling you now we better hear something soon. Her children have been trying all week-long, and I've been trying.I'm terrified right now for her. This woman Is four foot six a tiny little thing , she gets very nervous with loud noises and loud people. And they do not make us feel any better with the calls we've been making she's there than she's not there and then like I said , Someone that works there said something to me that made me really wary. We are very concerned for her safety.
Wekiva Springs has saved my life numerous times. But, the most valuable part of Wakiva is it's employees. Employees like Lexie and Trina that actually love people and the job they do. They are educated, compassionate… and loving. Angels that have not received their wings yet! GOD bless them all and I pray others learn from them. Carl Milton. 9/10/2026
2 yrs ago I walked in this place at rock bottom.. however the woman who done my intake was extremely kind, encouraging & made me feel so welcome. (She had glasses & shoulder length light hair) This was my 2nd attempt at… recovery & the 1st place I paid 20k out of pocket in WPB & I however, had better results here. I no longer had that kinda $ & came in using Medicaid hoping for the best. I am now 2yrs SOBER! The techs Jesse & Ms.T made a real impact on me.. I hope to get the chance to come speak & tell my testimony to the patients on 9/9 (my sobriety date) looking forward to hearing back ❤️ we DO recover! Work the steps & give it your all, & you got this!!
I can't say enough good things about this place! The counselors love you to bits, the facility is gorgeous, and if you have healing to do, this is the place to do it. What happened to me wasn't fair, but they helped me… back into the driver's seat of my life. The program is wonderful. I'll never forget the work I did or the amazing women I met. It's been so life changing for me. I can't thank them enough. They will help you and take good care of you!
Why do you guys donate to Northeast Florida Women Veterans/ women veterans ignited nonprofit ? They push female veterans to go there instead of the Va which holds the most resources, ability to gain disability, box… rehab and more. It seems a conflict of Interest that if they send vets your way which is probably not the best for the female - you send them a big fat donation?- concerned female veteran
i came to receive help after a major depressive episode and was held without being seen by a doctor for over 48 hours. it is standard to be seen within 24. poor, inefficient, disconnected communication between patient… and physician. i received more care from my excellent nurses, technicians, and patient care advocate than any doctor there. the medical team seemed unconcerned with me. i felt overlooked. i felt neglected in that place. i did not feel like they prioritized my comfort or care in any capacity. if i did not have mental issues before going, i would have developed them had i stayed there. the food was nice. i would not recommend this facility or their team of doctors to anyone i care about.
I am writing this review to express my deepest gratitude to Kristine White and the entire team at Wekiva Springs Behavioral Center. When my 33-year-old son was Baker Acted, we were in a state of crisis, and the… professional care we received truly saved his life. Kristine's professional insight into my son's erratic behaviors was exceptional. She and the team at Wekiva Springs were keenly aware of the adjustments he needed regarding his medications and provided the precise therapy required to help him overcome his crisis. Beyond the clinical expertise, this facility operates with true heart, sympathy, and empathy; they treated our family as if we were their own. Even during a particularly difficult moment when my son tried to escape, the staff’s professionalism and their immediate, cooperative response with the authorities were nothing short of 'out of this world.' We are eternally grateful for their dedication, their humanity, and the life-saving support they provided for my son. I cannot recommend Kristine White and Wekiva Springs highly enough.
It was a good place for me
Overall it was a good experience for me. I think the groups were informative., projects fun and the food was good. Swimming was the bomb! The staff overall good. The rooms need some remodeling or updating! The… relationships unforgettable.
The numerous one-star reviews should provide sufficient evidence of the facility’s poor quality. The reviews exhibit a consistent pattern, and mine will follow suit. My mother sought voluntary detoxification from… alcohol. Upon dropping her off, I specifically informed Sarah Grant, the designated “caretaker,” of our wishes. As her Power of Attorney, I requested that she be informed of any potential issues with my mother before transfer to the ER. Regrettably, Sarah failed to relay this message. My mother suffers from hepatic encephalopathy due to liver cirrhosis and was not receiving the medication we had provided her. The following morning, she fell and landed face-first, resulting in a head injury and shoulder injury. The only way I discovered this incident was when my mother contacted me after her discharge, expressing confusion and altered behavior. I attempted to contact the facility multiple times, prompting my husband to visit the facility to investigate the matter. Sarah accompanied her supervisor, Rod, came out to speak with my husband. My husband spent two hours waiting for the nurse to appear or for me to receive a call informing me of the situation. The situation escalated to the point where we contacted the police. Approximately 10 pm, after enduring hours of waiting for the most unprofessional and insufferable nurse, April Jones, she finally contacted me. Her response was incredibly rude and vague, providing me with minimal and inaccurate information. We requested her discharge from the facility, but they refused to inform my mother of our intentions. Given the late hour, I decided to wait until the morning. The next morning I get a call from my mom that she fell and went to the hospital again !!!!!! Two ER visits in three days, once again was still never informed. Her case manager Daniel Jeffries had failed to do her job. I am determined to file a lawsuit against this facility, implicating all the individuals mentioned above. My husband and I are both healthcare professionals, and we have never experienced such shock and disbelief.
This place needs to be shut down. They hold people against their will. If you don't have family or friends who care enough to call or look for you, you could be stuck there forever. They keep people heavily medicated,… so you're sleeping most of the day and may not even be sure what's going on around you. In my opinion, this place seems more focused on collecting insurance money than providing proper care. The woman at the front desk was also extremely rude and even yelled in my face, which was completely unacceptable.
Would leave more stars But Stephane at the front desk is absolutely worthless. She’s rude, she treats people like they are nothing My SR mother was here for 2 weeks and every time we came to visit and we came multiple… times She would treat myself my wife and my 14 year old daughter like we were trash because my mother needed mental health help. She would stare at us for 5-10 mins while we were at the door. Not doing anything . While we were in the waiting room my daughter asked for the restroom key and her responses was “I guess” she has absolutely no place working with people never mind in healthcare. She needs retrained or just removed and put somewhere where she has no interaction with people . She is the furthest thing from an asset. This is not a one time incident. She’s rude to people on the phone. Rude to people in the awaiting room. She makes the entire place look horrible. And I am not one to sit idly by. I did reach out to management and made a complaint and will follow up
100
Gary have been awesome, very polite and helpful. Stephanie has been an excellent teacher. She is truly an asset. Thanks
This place is horrible beware , this is not going to help you in your journey it feels like prison
If I could put 0 I would 100 times over DO NOT GO HERE OR PUT YOUR FAMILY HERE THEY ARE RUDE THEY DONT CARE TREAT THEM LIKE THEY ARE NOTHING AND CRAZY THEY MADE MY MOM 10 times worse didn’t get medications for three… days when that was the most important thing with her just having brain surgery and they told me that they have a full pharmacy that she would have them as soon as she got there they also never call back they are all rude my mom is honestly 100 times worse than she went in so be very careful
Great experience Stephanie was awesome staff top notch
Scheduled for six weeks in the outpatient clinic group therapy sessions. I found the sessions to be less than effective. Seen “the doctor” 2x during this time and each time, all it was about was medication, to which I… explained I don’t need meds from them so, why the extra visit to the doctor. They made it seem like I had to see “the Dr” even during a lunch break. No, I’m not going to interrupt my lunch for ‘his’ schedule…he can wait. The sessions don’t really give personal attention to my problems…therefore, I don’t feel that I have been “treated” for my condition at all, after six weeks. Today, I brought my dog to the center after being told by staff that I could. Taking the time to prepare him and bring him, even asked the group if anyone would have a problem with it…any allergies to dogs, fear of dogs, etc. Everyone asks to bring him. So, I brought him (by authority of staff) then get there and get told oh, dogs are not allowed here. Then told I need to furnish “papers” for him, shot records and such. Ok. I have no problems with that, you think you could have said it BEFORE I brought him? And the staff doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing when it comes to the overall rules. Some say, yes, you can bring him, others say no you can’t and yet others say, it’s FL statute, they can’t ask. Wow. Sad. I met some nice people here and made some positive connections…all in vain. Professionally, I did not get the help that I sought and will not be returning to Wekiva Springs again. Do I recommend? Well, I leave it up to the individual to make their own assessment…mine is a poor experience…one I shall not make again. Hope your experience is better.
Jessica you rock ma'am everytime I've been here you've treated my veteran like he meant something. Thank you for being compassionate in what you do.
It seems like no one in the facility cares once you have been released. Medications were supposed to be called in upon discharge. Yet here we are three days later and n meds. I’ve called the hospital no less than 10… times. I finally got a call back and they say there’s nothing they can do , that we just have to wait for the prescriptions to show up at the pharmacy. It doesn’t take three days for a called in prescription to show up at the pharmacy. This is absolutely ridiculous and I’m seriously considering calling an attorney.
My partner was lied to, mistreated, and had blatant legal violations against him in care. The nursing department lied about prescription orders, pushed him out without all of his property, then refused to address the… matter of medicine that was supposed to be provided at a 15 day supply upon discharge. The pharmacy that they claimed received the order made clear that no communication or order was placed at all. Having over 40 patients for one nurse is against Florida law. Having former patients granted access to the facility after discharge with spare phones is highly damaging for patients and those struggling with their own care. Refusing to provide food for patients while they wait over five hours for discharge is unethical, especially when you feed people in the lobby. Allowing for a patient to urinate on property of other patients without consequences or remedy is a notable issue. Lying to patients and their loved ones is a criminal offense, in regard to a service that is billed as completed without being completed. It is fraud. Stating that self-pay is $800 per night, billing insurance, then billing the patient over $4,700 is also fraud. I will make sure that all legal remedies are followed to the letter. I searched for any licenses for the facility and workers-- Florida Department of Health showed none.
A State Evaluation will be underway, very soon. As a very recent former patient, who was wrongfully backer acted at the Advent Health ER in DeLand, I will not rest until justice is served. There are people in there I… have come to care deeply for in the 6 days I was there, and NO ONE deserves the kind of mistreatment that 80% of the staff gives them.. Not to mention deliberately neglecting their overall wellbeing, with patients having seizures and passing out, being rushed out of there to a separate Hospital, all because they refused to listen to someone when trying to explain their preexisting health conditions… This place deserves a major lawsuit slapped on them for negligence, abuse, and a massive amount of malpractice; however, I would rather make sure this insanity stops..
I was only here for three days, and it felt like pure torture! I felt like I was in prison and the younger “Prisoners “ran the place! There were no single sessions. There were no group sessions. There were no… counseling. There was nothing all because they were short staffed, but they still charge me full price! Knowing that I’m on disability and I couldn’t afford it! I would never recommend this place ever ever ever ever
