Gateway Healthcare Inc – Pawtucket

A friend of mine that’s been going through a lot has been using gateway services. She has been working with social workers Tim, Molly, and Gabby. Tim talks inappropriately to female clients. Gabby and Molly promised to… get her food stamps and was going to bring her the card then picked her up for 3 hours with no food or food card. They have driven her to providence for help around 10-11 at night and when she couldn’t get help she needed they just left her to sleep outside for the night. They also offered to bring her to food banks last week and never did. I do not recommend. They do not help people mentally or physically like they claim. And beware of Tim. Tim, Molly, and Gabby provides care in the south county area.

What a joke. In 6 months my case manager(s) have done nothing. Are they actually getting paid for that?????

These people are inconsistent. They havent called me to check on me, and they slapped me with a fee for no show appt that they never called me to confirm or text me about. You're expected to look into your mychart to… see when your appt is, I dont have time for that when I could be doing more valuable things. I'm gonna look for another doctor and see how that works out.

Terrible organization, specifically Tayla (Taila/Thalia) Director of the in home services for children, Dr. Terkell supervisor to Tayla, and Elisha the in home therapist and Dr. Seviski the Psychiatrist. I waited months… to get my son help through Gateway. Surprisingly this healthcare institution whose sole focus is mental health are severely mismanaging our most vulnerable population (youth struggling with mental health to issues). While waiting for our onboarding with Gateway I was able to get my son into counseling through another agency. Over the next couple months we had an intake appt at our home where the clinician advised my son qualified for services. We booked an appt with Dr. Seviski for 2/10 at 2PM (this was in November). We were then contacted by the in home therapist Elisha I explained to her that my son was receiving therapy through another agency and explained 2 different therapists/sessions would be overwhelming for my son, she agreed. Fast forward 4 months approximately 240 days they allowed my son to suffer all for us to show up to the appt and they advise it was cancelled by Tayla. Tayla will not speak to me but the message has been relayed that Tayla canceled my sons med management appt because he was not receiving therapy from their therapist. This is a direct violation of the Patients Bill of Rights. As a patient my son has the right to see a therapist he is comfortable without being punished or receiving consequences. Tayla, Seviski, Elisha and Terkell relinquished med management services from my son. Not because he is not partaking in therapy but because he is not seeing the therapist they selected. This is a huge oversight, upon making efforts to allow them to rectify this issue they are now suggesting we go to Lifespan for med management. After wasting months of my families time, supplying false hope that we would finally get the help we have been seeking for years. My son and I are at square one. I’d also like to add that the directors and supervisors use their front end staff to do their dealing. Instead of them having the professionalism or courtesy to explain themselves they use their staff as shields to the inevitable backlash caused by their poor decision making. With all that being said thank you to Daisy and Jake with Gateway for acting as a sounding board for me during a time of frustration and desperation and to Adriana with Kids Link. I will be speaking with a lawyer about the patient bill of rights as my sons rights were directly violated in addition if anything happens to my son while medical professionals send me on another goose chase, litigation will ensure.

Wonderful people work there

There are no professionals here; your children are in the hands of people with the same or worse problems. It's a terrible place; even the good employees leave because this place doesn't do its job. They don't care… about the well-being or mental health of their children; they use them as mental pawns to make money. They don't care about your child getting better.

My case worker was very nice and helpful, but I moved out of their area they dropped me like a hot potato. The Dr and prescriber were horrible. Waste of my time.

Return visits and promises patient needs appointment card handed to her. ACT Team: Includes: Intake coordinator + his supervisor, Social Worker, Case Manager & Clinician. Please I was with Case manager and Clinician 2… days ago. Case manager was here for first part of Medical History, updated by Clinician and Transcribed Case. Case Manager promised she would be back today June 28, 2024. (I was told 10:00am) I could be confused! My only means of support is you, as of today I accepted a payment agreement with TMobile, so my phone will be turned on and I don’t loose connection, Heath history, Connection with my 38 year old daughter. (Down Syndrome daughter), Documents of claims records phone bills bank information photos will be lost as of today. Julie Aurelio

Worst healthcare experience of my life, from start to finish. Nobody has listened to a word I’ve said. I have been misled, misguided, and misdiagnosed at every turn. I have somehow come out of this “healthcare” visit… feeling ten times worse than when it started, and highly recommend you save your time and sanity and find someplace that actually cares about you.

Every time I call it's always a hasles and you barely get called back but when they want you to comply with them it's different like someone do there job

Unprofessional Unpredictable Unethical

"Its a voluntary service." Yeah because it sucks. "Its not that bad." Minimizing my abusive situation. Harrassing me when I miss appointments. Hanging up on me. Telling me I smell and Im dirty, yet the jacket I was… wearing was worth more than your pay. Even my friends said Gateway is the worst in Rhode Island. Yet so many "professionals" based out of Lifespan recommend it. Screw this place.

My son is a patient - Nurse Paula - great person, some of the other workers are rude, i understand it may be stressful but please you judged me due to a smell. That is just unprofessional who is to say it was me. if you… don't have something nice to say don't speak

If you don't have a mental health issue You will after Gateway Possibly a few

They should be ashamed the way they treat the ppl they are supposed to care for It's all about $$$

I have never left a Google review, never felt the need, but this place is atrocious. Never seen people treated so poorly at a place of HEALTHCARE! Will tell everyone I know to avoid this toxic place

Angela lied so bad on my court papers i could not believe what judge read out to me Angela also gets very resentful and did not believe i was homeless made false allegations to my team I confided in that place and the… threw me too the wolves Never go their It doesn't even deserve a rating but i had to rate it to open the post
