About Medical Withdrawal Management – Grand Junction

Medical Withdrawal Management sits at 515 28 3/4 Road, Grand Junction — around 2.4 miles from Fruitvale and 2.9 from Orchard Mesa. People travelling from Clifton, Redlands, Palisade and Fruita are all inside 12 miles. Grand Junction sits in Mesa County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.

Care offered spans detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medication-assisted treatment is part of the offer, the approach with the strongest evidence for opioid dependence. Sessions can be held remotely where travel is difficult. Veterans and serving personnel are among the groups served. Licensing sits with the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration, alongside federal SAMHSA registration.

Medical Withdrawal Management – Grand Junction Detox and Rehab Services

Care at Medical Withdrawal Management – Grand Junction spans detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards.

The focus here is on one side rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Waiting times vary, so it is worth asking at the first call.

Awful treatment. Switched around to someone who did not listen, made me feel like a my diagnosis didn't matter, triggered me greatly, cried for days. Made demands of me!!! I was crushed! She does not know me or my… situation nor did she care. No sleep for days, my anxiety is out of control, im stable with current medication, she took everything I've achieved and reversed it. My therapist I see each week for 9 years was shocked and advised me to report this. This woman still haunts me. Lynette is her name. Im in therapy over this therapist!

This place is a joke. I've been out of my sleeping pills for 4 days. My provider is Veronica Novinski. I haven't got sleep for 3 days. This place needs to be shut down!

I saw a therapist for a couple months, weekly-biweekly when I was in a very dire time. She took off a whole month so I basically had to find someone else, when I tried they tried to book me with Miexhausting.… (Supposedly case managment) who I had recently visited with about inpatient care, which she had no idea about and basically said there was no help for me. So that was infuriating. Front desk are not very helpful either and that had led me to give up on therapists at this location. I do have a great psychiatrist, Patricia Garcia but I can only communicate through her as when I talk to front desk they always seem to mix things up or misunderstand. It's exhasuting.
