About BAART Programs – Saint Albans
BAART Programs operates from 242 South Main Street in Saint Albans. The site sits in Franklin County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include St. Albans. Vermont draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at BAART Programs
Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

BAART Programs Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 242 South Main Street, Saint Albans, VT 05478, in Franklin County. The catchment reaches St. Albans. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Would not be where I am today without everyone that works there, they are amazing people so caring, and actually want to see you do good. Very thankful for what they have done for my wife and I.
Everyone is very friendly, and extremely helpful. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for the people that work there.
I also have a perfect record & had to attend every single day, then every 6 days a I haven’t had any infractions for more than a year… to be clear I started in 2009 at the Burlington Clinic, which is non-profit. Not to… be confused with the Baart Clinic, which is for profit-lots and lots of profit!(the Dr. drives his Tesla to the clinic) so business is BOOMING. Every single person who has to walk through that door is a paycheck for Baart. So even though I’ve got a perfect attendance record I’m still going every 6 days- even though I’m supposed to get 27 take homes and I just found out that my counselor from the Clinic just decided not to call me for our counseling session and that’s why I haven’t gotten my take homes back. When you live 60 miles round trip & you have to go there every 6 days- it gets expensive… there’s a lot of passing the buck at this place. No body takes responsibility for doing their jobs there, but the minute they don’t call you it’s your fault-not theirs and how do you argue with them about it when it’s obvious that you can’t call yourself… it’s a winless situation for the patients. And up until recently they had a tyrant who would go to great lengths to get staff they didn’t like to quit. Thank God that’s over! Also I’d love to add that there’s a five star review on googles first page- & fun fact - she isn’t even a patient at Baart! I checked… shame on them yet again!
I recommend this place to anyone with opiate addiction. This program will allow you to take your life back and get off the opiate treadmill
Wow, I was reading the very few reviews. Rules are rules..You get the leaflet/package when you first start the Process at Baart. You can travel, visit family in a different state which I have done many a time. There are… proper channels you must go thru to get approved. You first talk to your immediate assigned Counselor. Then they review your record/UA's,Attendance..If I am not mistaken Dr. Brooklyn has the final OK. Then no problem. I am 100% Positive YOU DO NOT GET CALL BACKS when You do the Proper steps which are clearly outlined in the Agreement You/We signed from the beginning. I have been with Baart since 2015 transferred to St. Albans in 2017, I have a 100% perfect clean record/file. You/I do not get special treatment because of this. Yes it counts for alot. But rules are rules you want to be away even for 2 days and went thru the correct process YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET A CALL BACK (Guaranteed))) So all you people that cry and try and lay blame on the Awesome Counselors at St. Albans Clinic need to get a grip. It is quite a simple process.. This Program has saved my Life PERIOD... I travel wherever and when ever I need to,,,,but The rules require at least 2 weeks if I remember correctly.... before said trip to dot all the I's and cross all the T's..to get your doses approved and ready to travel with you.....I mean come on to complain about this is a totally ridiculous waste of every ones time..I laugh to myself when I see supposed grown adults act like they are in Grade School...But it's all good their are many people on a waiting list to take your place that will be thankful as I am for getting this chance to Live and Fly right...No Cry Babies Needed, lol, lol......
My road with a batty is bittersweet. I have been a client with them for a couple years now I have almost a perfect record with them. I recently had some issues that are concerning and I feel there is a moral and ethical… adjustment that needs to be made in Saint Albans Barts compass. Being in the program has allowed me to live a better life but unfortunately I can’t even go camping with this new better life and not pay for it after being a great idle patient. I had recently gotten a seasonal camper in Kampersville which has absolutely no cell service. So I took the time to go down to have consolidated hook my phone up the two days while I was down there taking care of business I get a callback from Bart it is in the policy that we be able to be contacted at all times so while doing this I get a call back completely completely innocent. You would think that a perfect client with no issues at all. Would be excused for such a simple and understanding situation. I feel like somebody at the office has something to flex about I’m not sure but shame on them shame shame shame on them I can’t take my little boy camping for two weeks through our vacation because I have to come back every day please Lord. Shame shame shame
