Wellspring Inc – Bangor

I attended Wellspring in 2011, and it truly changed the course of my life. After years of trying to recover-going through at least 15 other programs without success-this was the place that finally made a difference. The… community, the support, and the environment at Wellspring gave me exactly what I needed to rebuild my future. Because of this program, I was able to become the father my kids deserved. It genuinely saved my life.

Went here 3 years ago and it was hands down the best choice I ever made. If you are ready to get sober and can stay focused on your own recovery (stay out of any drama) this program has so much to offer. The staff are… wonderful and treat you like a woman, not a patient. The balance between stature and freedom is really helpful in those early months of recovery. They also allow your children to visit snd stay over on the weekends and help connect you with all the resources you need when you leave. If you put 1/4 the effort you put into your addiction into your recovery while staying here, you will succeed.

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE WITHOUT THE USE OF DRUGS/ALCOHOL, I would HIGHLY recommend this program. It not only teaches you how to live a healthy lifestyle but how to love yourself again. Couldn’t have asked for… a better experience. I lived with my addiction for more than half my life. I am now 32 years old with a substantial amount of clean time. I couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful,dedicated staff and the women who genuinely cared and supported me throughout my journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Amazing staff and an amazing program, they're truly focused on helping people.

Don’t take any valuable assets with your belongings to the Wellspring treatment center. They promise you care then steal your belongings, charge to watch over your belongings but over a $ 100 stuff stolen from a… “locked” room. So let’s see promise the top rated care … dashed spent 14 hours there , then sent to St. Joseph Hospital for detox. Trama for person. Then hope is thrown away after “!we don’t have a room for you” as promised with hay drive here over 4 hours well take good care of lying to you.

If you want to get sober this is the place to do it BUT ONLY if you can stomach the counselors and how they have favorites. I'm getting called names and the counselors are saying "I didn't hear them say that". And I… didn't see so n so asleep at the group table. Anyways thank you well springs but you need new non bias counselors and maybe even a office intake person cause she's quite a trip too.

Had a friend go through the program she actually left due to bullying from other clients and staff not addressing the issues. I hope and pray my friend can keep her sobriety so better staff with the bullying issues

It's okay my mom went here. Thw staff is nice but you lkve with a bunch of girls in a big house. I think its two to a room.
