Dr. Roby , NP Megan and the male psych are all amazing at what they do . I have aspd so the demeanors never bother me as they treat my kids with respect and listen to understand who they are . Definitely recommend, ofc… it takes time to get an evaluation but why would you want it rushed to possibly be misdiagnosed? Even the ladies at the front desk are sweet and helpful . Live Keondra as my kids social worker as well

Having read the other comments and met Dr. Roby, the female psychiatrist, I can understand why some individuals might find her demeanor a bit unusual. However, I believe this stems from her unique personality and… perhaps some social skills that are not typically encountered. After spending an hour with her, I began to comprehend her mannerisms and the feelings they evoked. While we often acknowledge that everyone is different, this acceptance sometimes seems to exclude medical professionals. While I am not a medical professional qualified to provide diagnoses, I have observed certain patterns due to my personal history, including having a child on the autism spectrum and a twin brother. In my personal opinion, many mental health doctors may exhibit traits of Autism Spectrum Disorder, yet it is often unexpected within their profession. Accepting this perspective allowed me to recognize that her social responses were quite similar to those of my son, who is also on the spectrum and is under her care. Individuals with ASD often possess remarkable intelligence, though they may face social challenges. I am very thankful for Dr. M. Roby, as I did not need to persuade her of anything, unlike my experiences with other healthcare professionals. Furthermore, I chose to stop masking my ASD during the consultation, which was beneficial. Throughout my life as a woman with ASD, I have often masked my condition. Consequently, I have attempted to overcompensate by focusing on interpreting facial microexpressions, tone of voice, pitch, and other nonverbal cues, as these are not intuitive to me. I have had to learn to hyperfocus on these aspects to better understand those around me. However, during my son's consultation, I allowed myself to unmask and focus on the verbal and visual information. It was at that point that I felt Dr. Roby also relaxed, and the remainder of the appointment was wonderful. In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that possessing a doctoral degree does not necessarily mean that one is immune to the same challenges as their patients. We are all human.

The Dr doesn't fully listen to your concerns and she loves to overtalk you as if you're not aware. She's very dismissive projects annoyance. The patients didn't ask for you to work here so just go someplace else. She… hasn't prescribed my son anything that worked. A hospital did...but she's supposed to be the psychiatrist. Save yourself and your children the stress.
