There was a crying baby allowed to be in IOP for the entire month I was attending group. Andrea is incredibly unprofessional. She violated HIPPA in sharing details with me about another client’s medication and… diagnosis. By name. Everybody vapes in the building. Clients are allowed to be actively using drugs or alcohol while being a part of group. We were routinely dismissed from our sessions early, but I’m sure that won’t be reflected in what they will bill insurance for. Sitting through this group was painful. Go literally anywhere else. I am sober DESPITE Firelands.

This place should be shut down. They really don’t care about your well-being. I’ve been dealing with mental health providers and recovery resources for 20 years and never have I actually left a mental health care… facility worse off than when I arrived. I’ve called the supervisor several times and I never get a call back. I was prescribed a depression medication without seeing a doctor and come to find out I’m pregnant not depressed. Maybe if someone actually cared there we could’ve ruled that out first but no pump me with meds don’t call me back and make sure you cancel my appointment twice than the next one mark me as a no show which is a flat out lie. Never ever ever again. Beware if you truly care about living a better life. This is not the place for that. Less than 1 star.
The only reason I gave this place a one star is because it won’t let me give it zero. This place does not care about their patients. The people at the front desk are the rudest people I’ve ever met. If you work in a… place that handles mental health I would expect a better attitude. They set you up with appointments with people who are not even in the office! I went in and they sat me in a room by myself and turned the computer on. This place is ridiculous.
I started going to firelands after I had a mental breakdown in August of last year. Loved Mt therapist Kathy she's awesome the only reason this review has a star at all. Every one else there the doctors. The nurses. The… reception and even the supervisor constantly threatened to take my services away. I have PTSD and anxiety and depression sometimes uts hard for Mr to leave the house not to mention I just had a baby and i have a toddler but they took my services away for not being able to keep up with appointments this started when I had my baby. Because I was healing and couldn't leave my house I'm inconsistent and my help with my mental should be taken away. Honestly the worst service I've ever dealt with I dreaded my appointments everytime I had to talk to someone other than Kathy hateful people at the front desk. They are just there for a paycheck dint convince yourself they care about you they aren't even trying to. Never again! (Office in Port Clinton buckeye blv.)
