Treatment Centers in Mississippi That Accept Molina

Molina Healthcare of Mississippi covers drug and alcohol rehab for members of MississippiCAN, the state’s Medicaid managed care program, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, statewide. Molina also sold Marketplace plans in Mississippi for 2026 and offers Medicare plans here, so the rules that apply depend on which Molina card a person carries.

Listings on this page give each facility’s phone number, levels of care and accreditation, taken from government treatment registers and Mississippi licensing records. Browse the listings below and filter by detox, outpatient, residential or medication treatment, then ask the program whether it is in Molina’s network for the member’s plan.

Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Does Molina Cover Rehab in Mississippi?

Yes. Molina Healthcare of Mississippi lists behavioral health among the benefits of its MississippiCAN and CHIP plans, and the Division of Medicaid’s comparison chart shows all three MississippiCAN plans covering the services Mississippi Medicaid covers. For a Molina Medicaid member, the state’s substance use rules decide which treatment programs in Mississippi are paid.

Molina, a for-profit company based in Long Beach, California, has served Mississippi Medicaid members since 2017, and its current contract began July 1, 2025. Its Mississippi lines are Medicaid, CHIP, Marketplace and Medicare, and no outside behavioral health company is named: Molina Healthcare coverage runs its own behavioral health line, the same number as its member services line.

Does Molina Cover Inpatient Rehab in Mississippi?

Partly, depending on the line. For MississippiCAN members, Mississippi has no Section 1115 substance use waiver and its community mental health rule excludes room and board, so the plan decides hospital-level stays case by case. Molina’s national Medicare authorization form lists inpatient psychiatric care and inpatient rehab programs including detox and residential treatment.

Molina’s Marketplace plans work differently. Molina says its Marketplace plans place no limits on essential health benefits, and federal rules make substance use disorder treatment and inpatient behavioral health care essential health benefits on every Marketplace plan. A 2026 Molina Marketplace member asks the plan which private insurance rehabs are in its network.

How long will Molina pay for a residential stay?

For Medicaid members, state limits apply by service: crisis residential care up to 60 days a year when a physician or psychiatrist orders it and Molina authorizes it, and community acute partial hospitalization up to 100 days a year. Short-term rehab with Medicaid beyond those services depends on the plan’s review.

Does Molina need prior authorization for rehab?

Yes, for the higher levels. Mississippi’s rules require prior authorization for crisis residential care, acute partial hospitalization, psychosocial rehabilitation and diagnostic evaluations, and treatment given without a required authorization is not covered. Molina’s Medicare members use its behavioral health authorization form, effective April 1, 2024, which covers inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient requests.

Does Molina Cover Detox in Mississippi?

Yes for Medicare members, whose authorization form lists voluntary and involuntary inpatient detoxification as a requestable service. Molina Medicaid members seeking medical detox with Medicaid call the behavioral health line, 1-844-809-8438, because Mississippi’s state rules do not list detox as a separate Medicaid service. The plan then decides whether the admission counts as inpatient behavioral health care.

Does Molina Cover Outpatient Rehab in Mississippi?

Yes. Molina Medicaid members get the state’s outpatient therapy benefit: up to 36 individual, 24 family and 40 group sessions a year, with opioid treatment program services carrying no session limit. Outpatient addiction programs must hold Department of Mental Health certification and Medicaid enrollment to bill Molina for these services.

Molina adds virtual care through Teladoc for its MississippiCAN members, an option for people far from an in-person program. Hospital IOP programs that take Medicaid run at least nine hours a week under the state rule, and on the Medicare side Molina’s authorization form covers intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization and day treatment.

Does Molina Cover Suboxone, Methadone and Other Addiction Medications in Mississippi?

Yes. Mississippi’s Medicaid state plan covers buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone for opioid use disorder, and all three MississippiCAN plans, Molina included, share Gainwell as their pharmacy administrator at 1-833-660-2402. Molina members fill Suboxone with Medicaid under the state’s Universal Preferred Drug List, the single list every MississippiCAN plan follows, with version 2026_14 in effect from October 1, 2026.

Does Molina cover methadone in Mississippi?

Yes. Medicaid methadone comes through opioid treatment programs certified by the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, with no session limits on medication and services there. Since April 1, 2021 opioid treatment program services need prior authorization under the state’s rules, so methadone treatment clinics send the request to Molina.

Does Molina cover Vivitrol?

Yes, under the state plan’s naltrexone coverage, which takes in every form the FDA allows for opioid use disorder. When the injection is non-preferred and given by a clinician, prior authorization applies, so Vivitrol programs with Medicaid check Molina’s requirements before scheduling the first dose, and oral naltrexone falls under the same state plan coverage.

Molina Rehab Centers on the Gulf Coast, by Rivers and Near National Forests

Mississippi offers no mountains or desert, but Molina members can look for programs on the Gulf Coast, along the state’s big rivers or near its national forests. Molina’s MississippiCAN plan is statewide, so a member keeps the same plan and behavioral health line whether a program sits in Pascagoula, Natchez or Holly Springs.

Molina rehab on the Gulf Coast

Pascagoula, Gautier and Ocean Springs in Jackson County and Gulfport and Biloxi in Harrison County all fall under Molina’s statewide Medicaid plan, with no separate coastal region or network. Gulf Coast rehab centers enrolled with Mississippi Medicaid bill Molina directly, and Gautier rehab services appear among the coastal listings.

Molina rehab along the Mississippi River

Natchez, Vicksburg, Greenville and Clarksdale follow the Mississippi River through the southwest and the Delta. Riverside treatment programs take Molina Medicaid the same way as city programs, and Teladoc visits can fill the gap between in-person sessions for Delta members using Clarksdale recovery programs.

Molina rehab near national forests

The Holly Springs National Forest covers parts of Marshall, Benton and Lafayette counties in the north, and the Tombigbee lies near Ackerman and Houston. National forest area rehabs need the same Mississippi certification and Medicaid enrollment as any other program to bill Molina, wherever they sit, and Oxford is the nearest city to the Holly Springs forest.

How Do I Find a Rehab That Accepts Molina in Mississippi?

Browse the listings on this page. Each one shows a phone number and levels of care, so a call goes to the program directly, and filters show rehabs that take Medicaid. The program then confirms it is in Molina’s network for the member’s line, since Medicaid, Marketplace and Medicare networks differ.

Admission runs through Molina’s authorization for levels that need it. The facility requests it, or the member calls the Molina line in the table and names the program. Medicaid members who want to change plans contact the Division of Medicaid at 800-421-2408 or its enrollment line through Gainwell, 1-800-884-3222.

Molina rehab in Jackson and Pearl

Molina members in Hinds and Rankin counties may hold MississippiCAN, CHIP or a 2026 Marketplace plan, each with its own network. Medicaid members use the behavioral health line for authorization, and downtown Jackson rehab programs and Pearl addiction services can be asked which Molina networks they joined, since a program may contract for one Molina line and not another.

Molina rehab in Gulfport and Biloxi

Coastal Medicaid members in Harrison, Hancock and Jackson counties have Molina’s 24-hour Nurse Advice Line, (844) 794-3638, for questions after hours, and the Division of Medicaid encourages providers to enroll with all three MississippiCAN plans. Orange Grove treatment centers and D’Iberville rehab options serve Harrison County.

Molina rehab in Hattiesburg and Laurel

Molina decided in February 2026 to leave stand-alone Medicare Advantage with drug coverage for 2027 while keeping its dual-eligible plans. A Hattiesburg or Laurel member who holds that stand-alone Molina product chooses new Medicare coverage before booking care at Oak Grove rehab programs in 2027.

Molina rehab in Tupelo and Oxford

Molina sold Marketplace plans in Mississippi for 2026, one of its 14 Marketplace states that year, so Tupelo and Oxford residents could buy them directly. Molina has said it will narrow the Marketplace to about six states for 2027 without naming them, so Saltillo treatment options and Oxford programs should be asked about 2027 coverage.

Can I use Molina for rehab in a different county?

Yes, within Mississippi. Molina’s MississippiCAN plan is statewide, and MississippiCAN has no plan regions, so a Molina member in Tunica can be treated in Meridian under the same benefit. The program must be in Molina’s network and certified by the Department of Mental Health where certification applies. Marketplace members follow their plan’s network instead.

How much does rehab cost with Molina?

For Medicaid members, usually very little. A state plan amendment effective May 1, 2023 allows the Division of Medicaid to remove copays from Medicaid services, and Molina describes its Medicaid coverage as no-cost or low-cost. Marketplace and Medicare costs follow each plan’s deductible, copays and out-of-pocket maximum instead.

Mississippi has not expanded Medicaid, so many adults without children do not qualify for MississippiCAN on income alone. For them, Marketplace coverage or programs paid through the Department of Mental Health may fit while an application is pending, and state funded detox programs are marked on the listings here.
